I agree completely. I was disgusted by that SE, after trying for months to get things to a normality I gave up. It has also put me off buying then iPhone 12 Mini. I would have loved to buy the iPhone 12 mini, but I know battery life will be so bad and Apple will just turn their nose up and ignore the thousands of people complaining. I will say though that the new iPhone 12 Pro I bought is working perfectly and the battery doesn't seem too bad. (But it is exactly the same as an iPhone 11 Pro, just with flat sides) Thanks for watching.

Yeah me too, my battery is down to 98%, it is just sad that they didn’t increase the battery capacity

I just bought this from, came from an android phone which has 4000mah battery. All i can say is, when it comes to battery consumption, i can say that se 2020 is well optimized with its usage of battery. For comparison, with my android screen brightness i always put it 70%, while at iphone se2020 i only use 35% since it has good screen and its bright for that percentage alone. Full charged at 7am, charged it 4pm at 30%battery. Been watching youtube videos, listening to music and played mobile legends. Its a pretty solid phone and battery is more than enough for this. I suggest to buy the 18watt charger and you’re all good.

That's kind of how all phones work. You just can't check it on Android, unless you download a 3rd party app.

This helped my iPhone se. I turned off motion, made it fade. And I got used to like 20-10% brightness and it’s way better.

I have been using the iPhone SE since early October and still at 100% maximum battery health with nothing done in settings. No shutdowns and using wireless charging only.

Yes, it does help a little. DO NOT Update to iOS 14 yet as the battery life is terrible, even worse than the original SE2 battery life. Thanks for watching.

It depends where you live. Different countries have different shipping rules, battery packs and AirPods are not allowed to be shipped internationally unless it is by a large company like Amazon. The best solution would be for you to look on your local shopping site, Lazada, Shopee, Amazon, and type in IPhone 7 battery case. You should then have many to choose from. Thanks for watching.

No, I would not recommend to anyone anymore, it is not a good phone like the newer iPhone Mini. I would suggest the iPhone 12 Mini or if that is our of your price range an iPhone 11 Pro (Last year model. Thanks for watching.

I know. It is such a great little phone and if the battery lasted longer it would have been the best phone out there for the money. But I can’t recommend it any more. They bought me the iPhone 11. Takes two days before I charge... but I have a se 2020 3hr battery life!! With 100% capacity. At $200. Used to be 5hrs battery life. I try not to leave my apple product going overnight. 4 months old. :(

I would buy a pro, 11 or a new one when it comes out. Or, if you want a great phone that is smaller and bigger at the same time, a Samsung Z Flip! That is my new daily driver!!! New video coming soon about it. Thanks for watching.

Good solution, but I prefer the phone to stay as slim as they can be with a case. So I just bring a tiny 10000mah power bank with 18w charging with me.

Well, if you want a small phone the 13 mini is small and light. The battery should be better than your current phone, but with all small phones battery health will deplete faster. The 13 standard will keep battery health much longer, but it will cost a lot more than a replacement battery. It comes down to how much you love your SE2. Thanks for watching.

It is just a generic case that has many different company names. It is easier to look at the case and then find the same image online because each country will sell their own version of the same case but with a diffetent name. The case I bought is made by Usams, but I have seen it by many other names. Thanks for watching.

i have purchased iPhone SE 2020 previous month and its been 1and half month and i haven’t inserted my sim card yet i just use it with my android phone and in this short period bettery health decreased by 2% from 100% so is that a faulty phone i have received..??

I don't know my friend. I took my SIM card out and reset it to factory and it still loses 50% battery overnight with no wifi or SIM card. I am going to try and sell mine and get some of the money back before it loses too much. I had such high hopes for the SE2 but it has been a real waste of time and money. Well, I would save up for a few weeks more and buy something else. The SE is just not worth buying and will give you battery anxiety like crazy. What about buying a refurbished iPhone 11 or 12? I find that an external battery still doesn't help me. it seems like the device overheats to easily and when it does it stops it from charging. Kinda bullshit considering we're not talking about a high level of heat. They really should've put a better battery in the SE 2020. Or better heat distribution. Kinda disappointing.

Did you recently update the software? If you did it may take a few days to become normal again because of all of the things going on in the background. If you didn't, then it could be a battery issue or an app problem. If you have recently installed a new app, delete it and see if it improves. I hope this helps.

I am so sorry for the problems you're having with the SE2. The iPhone SE2 is one phone I wish Apple had never made. They made a great phone with the best internal hardware but left a 3 year old battery inside to try and cope with all that power. If you are losing 3% battery health per month then I would take it back to Apple and complain about it. I spend 2 months trying to find a fix and there wasn't one, you can buy a battery case and it will get you through the day, but the battery life will still suffer because it just cannot cope with the processor that was used. I do wish you the very best and I hope they replace it for you of offer a refund. Thanks for watching.

I just bought an SE 2020 a week a go, and realize that the battery percentage indicator isn't accurate. I charged it when it's 20% and take it off when it's 80% and then I turned it off for a while. When I turned it on, the battery percentage indicator became 84%. What should I do to make it accurate??? HELP

When you turned it off, it had a chance to calculate the percentage better and so showed a little extra when booted. But if it happens all the time then I would return it to the store to be checked. Thanks for watching.

Normal use is checking in with Facebook, Instagram, a couple of 10 minute KZread video (mine 😉) listening to 3-4 hours of Spotify and seeing how many people cause the C-19 today. No problem. But if you are using Tic Tok, watching Netflix movies, Shooting 4K video and and editing on the go, plus lots of photos then no it won’t be good enough. Thanks for watching,

I believe that the SE comes with faulty batteries from the factory, I bought my SE 3rd gen in May only ever charged it to max 80ish % just changed it at the apple store under warranty as, when i switch it off at night with say about 80% and switch it back on after about 8ish Hours, then the battery drained to about 40%. As I said I just changed to a brand new replacement phone and it has the same fault. It's very strange to me, when I received the new Phone in the apple store just a few days ago the battery was completely flat, so I told the guy that I assume that this Phone will most likely have the same problem, he replied "impossible".... I am going to change it again...

How is the cellular signal in your house/area? If the phone is draining that much and not in use it could be searching for a signal continuously. look at it sometimes and see how many bars of signal you have, under 2 and it will be searching often, only 1 bar and it will be searching always. But of course the iPhone SE 1st Gen, 2nd and the latest all have tiny batteries like the iPhone Mini and so you cannot expect it to have the longevity of the Pro Max. If you do change the phone again, maybe try an ordinary iPhone 15 instead, better cameras and it should last much longer. Thanks for watching.

And it losses around 40 % in about 8 hours. So no searching or anything is going on. And that is the second phone with the same issue….

Interesting thanks for doing I have an iPhone SE and at night when I go to bed at it loses nothing on the 🔋 battery. my guess is your phone is trying to connect to your LTE which is bad in your area that's why your phone is dropping cuz when I go to bed if my phones at 100% in the morning it still at 100%.

After the iOS 13.5.1 update most of the problem was solved. Battery drain at night changed dramatically from 100%-75% before the update to 100%-97% after the 13.5.1 update, but the SE still has a small battery and so it still barely makes it through the day. I agree completely, the updates from Apple have been so hit and miss since the iPhone 11. I have had great standby with 17.4 and then 17.4.1, but I had bad standby problems at the start of iOS 17. Unfortunately, iOS 18 is on the way, so expect some more drama and battery life woes. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more.

Bro can I last all day? This is what I do everyday: I will play a game for 30 mins then I will not use it for several hours and then I will watch youtube. That is all I do. So can it last for me the whole day?

It sounds like it would last ok. It has a a small screen so don't expect to play fortnite or Pubg. If you are a casual phone user it should be fine. Thanks for watching.

Yes. Nothing worked until the iOS 13.5.1 update, that fixed 90% of the problems. Thanks for watching.

mine always lasts for almost 11 hours within my normal daily usage

Unfortunately no. I bought it in Hanoi, Vietnam. But they sell the same style of cases on Amazon in UK or USA. Or Apple make an iPhone 8 battery case that works the same way. Thanks for watching.

So my iPhone SE2020 drains at 1% every 2 minutes. That's rubbish. A max time of 3 hours 20 min.

Yes, mine did that at one point as well. Try resetting it and setting up as a new phone, not from a backup. It takes longer but can help. Are you on the latest software? Thanks for watching.

Yes, give it a try first. But at 1% per minute that would be too much 1% every 3 minutes is about normal. I hope you get it sorted out. 👍

I see I'm really dissapointed I really tought that my battery was bad from Factory but now I realize it's normal for this phone

Yes, I think everyone feels the same. I have had worse in the past, but that was when all phones produced poor battery life. These days people expect much more. Thanks for watching.

Anybody have a problem with the battery. I’m not a heavy user on my phone. Not a phone gamer. Just the the phone/messages/Spotify. My battery health is down to 97% already. Had the phone 2 months and at this rate I’ll be down to 80% capacity in 8 months

New phone if it is less than 30 days old. If not a replacement battery. Apple are expensive, but they also have excellent customer service. Thanks for watching.

After 4 years, I don't think anything can help the iPhone SE 2020 anymore. But a new 2024 SE is in the near future, let us hope it is a great improvement. Thanks for watching.

For my iPhone se it has 89 battery life which is absurd we only got this phone a few months and it Drains The Battery Every 5 minutes ;-;

I am so sorry to hear that. I sold mine at a huge loss, but with a big smile. The iPhone 12 mini is smaller, faster and the battery lasts far longer. (But not if you’re a power user!) if you play COD on you phone or watch Netflix movies I would suggest an iPhone 11 Pro Max, it has the longest battery I have ever known in an iPhone. @@Paullebbon this is the only phone in my budget.. it even went a bit over. it's my first iphone besides using my dads old iphone 4 as a child. yeah i lost the 25% WHILE ON LOW POWER MODE. crazy, right?! and right now as i'm typing this i've lost about ten percent since i took it off the charger and i've been using it for ten minutes. also, the iphone 12 is smaller? how is that possible 🤯

I know. I feel for you and everyone else out there that got cheated with the SE2. The iPhone 12 mini is much smaller but the battery does last more, but is still not a phone for daily use. The 12 mini is more of a put in your pocket as an emergency phone. For the best battery life I would suggest the iPhone 11 Pro Max on iOS 13, I used to get 9 hours of heavy use with that phone. i’ve had mine about a year and the battery health is already down to 86%😭😭 i think my old iphone 6 battery health was better than this

Garbage, just another shading thing for people to buy more stuff!!!! Was thinking maybe it’s the updates we keep downloading that apple keeps recommending which maybe is the reasoning for slowing down battery life, speed, reliability, etc. In order for us to go and get a new phone from apple in turn supply and demand…. Have you tried a soft reset? Hold down power and home button until Apple logo appears. If not then it will be a trip to the nearest Apple store.

By the time I made this video I was at my lowest, I had tried everything and nothing had worked. I made this video more as a joke as I had lost my mind with the SE2. Sorry to let you dow and the latest update a viewer said had made a difference, but I have my doubts. Anyway I got rid of that phone and moved on in the hopes that the nightmare would stop. Thanks for watching and check out some of my other phone reviews, they are much more hopeful and positive.

@@Paullebbon I ended up turning off Share iPhone Analytics in Analytics and Improvements under the Privacy setting and that seemes to have made a huge improvement.

Hahaha.

The only way to solve battery issue is by buying a non Apple phone.
