David & David. Thanks for your service. I wondering about complaints from iPhone, breaking up, not disconnecting the phone call, lately. In my case, I have been working with AT&T for fixing it. So far there was a setting change to do the reception better. Internet improves a lot with a new router… so far so good. I trust these expensive devices. Excellent report on bugs, Thanks 👍

This was so helpful. Turns out the screen protector I had on my phone was ruining my audio, and after watching this I realized I needed to take it off and it fixed the issue.

Thank you so much! For a period of time, I thought I was losing my hearing. Once I confirmed my hearing was good, the next step was to take my iPhone to Apple for a check up. I am glad I went to google asking about this issue. Your video came up. Now I can once again hear callers on my iPhone.

OMG, thank you!!!!!! I had tried everything, and then decided to remove my nifty screen protector, and VOILA!!! The volume was so loud, I had to turn it down. You're my hero 😀😘

Half way through the video and it WORKED!!! Thank you guys I thought I was going prematurely deaf … the grey I can take the hearing loss. I need my hearing!!! 😂

Great video, as always. I’d like to say I’ve become a “power user“ because of your information, but I’m not there yet. The problem I am having is almost exactly the opposite of this video. Incoming calls, seemingly random numbers, go directly to voicemail. Text and voicemail seem to work fine but my phone doesn’t even register the call as coming in. No record of it in recent or missed calls. I called Apple and they are aware of the problem but I thought you guys might possibly have an answer that they’re geniuses back there at Apple have not figured out yet or at the very least you could make this problem more widely known so that Apple might actually do something about it. thanks again, I’ve been a subscriber for sometime now, and your videos have proven invaluable to me. I’m big on security, so I really appreciate that aspect of your instruction.

I did everything and didn’t fix my issue. I can’t hear calls at all unless I put it in speaker. I’m annoyed because it’s not the first time that iPhones start acting weird once the launch the new version. 🤔

You will need to replace the ear speaker

I turned off blue tooth and now, for the very first time, I can hear, without fumbling to put my phone on speaker! Thank you!

Great advise. I have a question, why on my iPhone 13 with all updates, if I use any map app, I have to turn off Bluetooth in order to hear person navigating me? Which is not good because turning Bluetooth off, turns off my car speaker!

Great video. Fixed my inop vehicle speaker witn a new IPhone 15 promax with just a few easy steps. per your video..I called the selling AT&T store and they said they never geard of this problem. Is there a way to permanently turn on the speaker phone on an Android (Samsung Galaxy)? I get tired of having to turn it on every time I send or receive a call. I rarely use the "standard" mode and much prefer "speaker" mode. TIA

#5 reboot works but I have to reboot like 5 times a day. Also anytime it’s like this I also get no sound notification’s also not sure it’s connected but a couple of time I get fuse errors in iTunes. Any ideas?

What about if it occurred after ripped flex change. It has zero sound on ear and upper speaker. We tried different flexes and speakers no sound.

I turned off “noise cancellation” and turned on “hearing aid compatibility” It resumed 20 percent of the ear speaker voice which was died few days ago, never knew why.

The screen protector was my problem... I'm shocked. I've had that screen protector on since release day of the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Never had any real audio problems until recently and I was blaming it on a software update. I just assumed since it was on there for over 4 years that it couldn't be the problem. My mind is blown.

14 pro max plays notification sound through the same speaker which is being used for phone calls on an active call. Do you know a fix for this?

In my phone it is not showing option iPhone only speaker and Bluetooth options are coming

I have a iPhone 14 pro max, it’s 5 months old. Since I normally just use speaker phone I did not notice there was a problem with the microphone. All calls are normal when using the speaker phone function but if I turn that off and put the phone to my ear the person I’m talking to says that I sound like I’m underwater and they can’t understand me. At first I went to Apple Store and it seemed fixed for a few hours. Then it returned. A few days later I returned to the Apple Store and another tech tried to fix the issue but couldn’t even after wiping the phone and reinstalling to os again…. Apple Care will be sending me a new phone. We’ll see if that works. Please note I also changed cell provider in the middle of dealing with this because the first tech said it may be an issue with them. Changing cell provider did not fix the issue. Update: as of today, Monday, June 12, 2023 Apple Care replaced my phone with a new one. I transferred all settings and apps from original iPhone to the new replacement… the phone now works perfectly. There is now no problem with the microphone audio that call receivers were hearing when the phone is held in the “ up to the ear position “. Therefore this proves to me that it was a hardware problem with the original iPhone…..

I have an Apple iphone 10 XR I'm running IOS 16.6, Now the phone won't allow me to make any international calls ,but it will allow me to make local calls and send texts i can also make internet calls via WhatsApp, Messenger, but everytime i try and make an International call the phone call does not connect and says ''Call Failed'' i have not got a clue whats wrong and as you are the specialists i have come to you for your guidance Please i have tried a few fixes removing the sim and put it back clean in its slot, i have tried turning the phone off leaving for thirty minutes and re-booting it all to nothing.

It's not a hardware or software issue. It's an Apple issue. THEY decide when it's time to replace your phone. I have an 11, and 2 people I know have 12's and we all have the same problem, it's extremely difficult to hear a caller. Mine started a year ago, then the other's phones started about 2 months ago. I've tried everything to fix it, numerous times. It's not the phone, it's Apple deciding that it wants my money for a new phone. Which is why I'm finally going to make the jump to Samsung

The fix that they recommended worked with the audiovisual voiceover whatever that was. The phone noise cancellation under audio visual works for me and I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max. They remember they recommended it for people with 12 or over but it worked for my 11 thank you.

What case is that on your iPhone?

I don’t understand how we’re moving the screen protector would make any difference. The speaker that you clean is above where any screen protector would be. This video is such a waste of time and completely unhelpful.

Sadly none of these worked
