I got an iPhone 8 for the improved finger sensor, camera, colour saturation and while charging. Also I love how the glass looks

To me, the white Belkin charger would be perfect for the white or gold iPhone. The Mophie would be perfect for the space gray model. That way they both match in color.

What's the hate about this guy? I don't know him. First time I've seen him but come on, in my opinion he's doing us a favor on showing us these products. So what if he made a mistake about a phone model. The point here is about the charger not the older iPhone. Also someone complained about the audio, if you can hear him and understand that's enough for me. Oh geez. Try to make your own video and post it. People always have something to complain. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the guy. People LOOOOVE pointing out errors, minor mistakes or any little thing they think they can because it makes themselves feel better about themselves. I think I'll stick with my 6s and Otterbox Defender case for now. I'm assuming if I decide on the 8, that the same wired recharge cord is compatible with the 6s and 8.

I used to think wireless charging is not important, until my charging port went bad. I’m not interested in spending more than my phones value to fix the charging port. Wireless would definitely save my phone now.

I love the Belkin Boost up I times the charge time and it takes 2 minutes to charge and goes up 1 every two minutes

iOS 11.1 will have a different charging animation. It will detect if nearby devices are paired, and list them as charging on the lock screen.

Hey my iPhone 8+ worked for wireless charging with a thick case

I found a $40 Mophie rectangular wireless charging base at Target that works just as well for the iPhone lineup.

When will we know the effects of sleeping with the head near that energy vortex created by the wireless plug ...

Will the wireless charging pads work with a lifeproof case on the iphone 8 and 8+?

The issue is that when the iPhone is being charged using a cable, the phone is being powered by the cord (there is some load on the battery, but it’s minimal), but when using wireless charging, the battery is what’s powering the iPhone, with the wireless charger only being used to top up the battery. This means that by switching from a cable to a wireless charger, my battery isn’t getting a break, and in turn, this is making me go through recharge cycles at an even faster rate.

How dope would it be tho to have it completely wireless? no cable at all, just the charging device and that's all, sort of like the power bank.

iPhones support only wireless charge, not fast wireless charge. Right? My iPhone usually needs to recharge every night and i'm thinking that if I buy a wireless charge I can leave my phone charging all night with less damage to the battery life instead of leaving it all night with the cable. Do you think it works better or doesn't work at all?

May be the strongest glass on a molecular level, but really it's the thickness of the glass that determines it's durability. At the end of the day, glass is glass and will always crack / break when compared with aluminum.

thats why u have a case for it so you wont drop it and break it im getting a 8 soon looking forward to a wireless charging

Almost every glass back phone I’ve seen has a cracked back. So, I wonder, if it’s cracked, does the wireless charging still work? I would MUCH rather have a metal back more durable phone. Though the cables are awful awful and rarely last more than 6 months for me. Wireless charging helps that (and from ‘wearing out’ the charging port itself). My only complaint about it is that, if I need to use my phone, I like to have it held up and in my hand and not flat on a surface. So in that scenario I’d want to use a wired charger

The difference between plugging in a cable and just placing it down may seem very minor and it is. When you are a busy person and you have a billion things to do all the time and it never ends, tiny things like this do help. If not in actual practicality, maybe mentally.
