Great review I was wondering why you like the symmetry better. You said the fit is much better but which one would have the better grip?

I like how you have a front and back screen protector on your phone. I have the same thing with my iPhone 6

I really like this case. Only issue I have is the opening in the back and the rubber part seems weak around the buttons

I bought a Symmetry clear case about a year ago. I was perfectly happy with it until it turned yellow. It said it wouldn't but it did! I just ordered the black commuter series one so I hope I have better luck with it. It also is a lot cheaper than the Symmetry.

The Symmetry is nice, but that groove around the edge is rough and when you have it in your pocket it rubs every time you get the phone out. Very annoying. That is a deal breaker for me. If it was smooth it would be my go to. I just ordered the Jet black (matte was not available) iPhone 7 256gb because it was on sale. I was thinking of adding a skin wrap to the back and then putting it in the Commuter case so that any debris that got in the case would not scratch it up. I have that issue with my space gray 6 with pitting from grains of sand. Yes, I take it out and clean it time to time. What are you using for the back protector on yours as I have heard skin wraps pull the writing off the Jet black version. I thought this was laser engraved anyway, but apparently not.

Can you check out the Spigen Slim Armor and Tough Armor?

Just ordered this case off amazon. Couldn't say no for $18.99 . Also got a back protector. This reviews helps a lot! Right now I got the defender and a glass protector.

The rubber gets loose on the Defender case.

I think the black looks nicer on the Commuter.

The defender is the best one and more grip never worry when u have the best 🤷🏾‍♂️

Have one for about a year now on my 6. No problem at all. Just get a glass protector just incase. $5 @ five below.

yes a tempered glass is definitely a must.my phone was on my otter box case and when it feel it cracked the tempered glass and didn't damage the actually screen of the phone.but apart from that it holds up a lot of falls

Nice review I kinda like this case is the rubber part really flimsy

I Have A Otterbox Defender Case For My iPhone 7.

Got this case few days back feels like a great case, but it damaged my tempered glass. Is there any edge to edge tempered glass compatible with this case??

i actually had a otter box commuter case on my i phone 7 for only 3 monthhs and the screen tempered glass crackedon the top.thankfully the screen it self didn't get damaged.i am considering eventually getting the defender case.is it any good?

A lot of people may like the apple cutout in the back but I hate it. That part of the phone gets scratched up and over time gets dirty. Buddy of mine had his on a while and one day took it off and the circle part was darker than the rest of the phone and he couldn't clean it off with anything.

TechnicallyTee what kind of rear protector do you use? I was able to buy a bunch of them (front and back)on amazon for my iPhone 6 but can't find any for the 7 plus. I refuse to run a commuter case unless I can cover up the back of my phone. Links or brands would be appreciated. Thanks.

I agree. My case for the 6 is open and it has worn unevenly to the rest of the phone. I heard skin wrap ruin the jet black writing, but using a screen protector less destructive?

The defender has a plastic covering over it

Only one speaker on the bottom the other is the mic the second speaker is on the face of the iPhone

Symmetry is by far the best

I have one but never keep it on long. It's pretty slippery. I do like it though.

i have otter box for my iPhone 7 plus

I can't decide between this and the defender. I like the slimmer profile of the commuter but I wish it covered more than just the edges more like the defender as well. Should I get this or the defender, but pop out the plastic screen and use tempered glass?

Yeah man, I've seen your reviews on all of them. I read a lot of people saying the symmetry was too slippery which was why I was going for the commuter or defender

It's also only $20 on Amazon as opposed to $40 from the manufacturer. I'll gladly accept 50% off the case and have less packaging to deal with!
