iPhone 7 Plus no power, no image, not charging - shorted PP_VDD_MAIN - Advanced Motherboard Repair

Here we have an iPhone 7 Plus with no image, no start and not charging.
It had shorted capacitor on PP_VDD_MAIN.
The phone had a bit of water damage also. Took me some time until i found the bad capacitor ( it was hiden under CPU shield ).
Some of the tools and supplies i use all time
- Sugon T26 soldering station with JBC C210-018, C210-002 and C210-020 tips
- Gordak 952-A (I'm using this only for it's soldering iron)
- 8858 Hot Air Station (no name)
- Seek Compact XR Thermal Camera
- Sunshine DT-17N Multimeter
- HY3005D Power Supply (very old)
- Kingbo RMA 218 Flux
- Baku BK-227 Flux
- Cynel Soldering Wire 0.5mm and 0.7mm
- Mechanic XGS40 158C Solder Paste
- Relife RL-404 138C Solder Paste

Nice to see fellow romanian do this repairs . Rosin is nasty and does not work for shorts under 100mA .Invest in a decent thermal camera! Will save you time and money !

Thank you for your comment! As you know, things in RO arrive at 2-3 times of the normal price, even if you buy from AliExpress. The plan is to buy more better tools, some microphone to start talking in videos, another hot air station and more. Again, thank you for your comment!

u really dont know how good u are sir, i do apple repairs focusing mainly on data recovery and board swaps but i must say i salute u
