iPhone 7 Motherboard Dead Data Recovery | Stop blindly changing IC

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Still seeing a lot of amateur technicians keep destroying the customer iPhone without proper diagnosis.
DO NOT blindly to remove any parts.
This video is made for beginners.
Watch this to know how the ORIGINAL diagnosis.
This video is just to show you how it works. Once you know how it works, you won't need this hassle to remove it.
"Learn the rules like a pro, bend the rules like an artist" I love to tell this to my students. "Follow the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), then you can only skip it once you already know how it works"
Technical View:
Before the iPhone 7 series, those 6S or older models they only have two power section to check when the board is short.
vcc_batt and vcc_main.
Now in 7 series, they added one more power section which is called vdd_boost.

This IC U2301 is a boost IC, it helps vdd_main when battery is low, and it helps extend battery life. your technique is good but u don't need to extract this ic. You can inyect voltage in C2302 and see whats hot by thermal camera or rosin.

It's funny that see people look at your old video and comment you shouldn't do this and do that master, you should delete this video 😂😂

  • @Pigoras

    @Pigoras

    2 жыл бұрын

@@worldwidemobile2953 I think that he should not delete the video, times pass and some techniques may change. Master Lim is an artist and he has all my respect. Some time ago I also removed some mosfets to find a short, but it is not necessary with a proper voltage injection technique. It is just another point of view, a good diagnosis and the end result is what is important.

  • @iPhoneServiceMalaysia

You don't understand the video. The VDD whole line is not shorted in this case. It's already the first thing to check. That's my point of bringing in VDD into the shorted area. Thanks for watching by the way

I don’t know the condition of your board. It’s an hour in my class about power circuit flow, another an hour about cpu, ram and nand. First sop step u should check, batt line, vcc main line, and boost Vcc, are they getting voltage or not.
