Go to Settings/General/Background App Refresh/turn it off It will save you a lot of data. This application runs app even if they are off in others words are consuming data all the time... check your usage before to do this, wait one day to check usage again, you will see a big difference. Make a backup of the apps on your iTunes on your pc/mac. That is make sure you have copied the apps in the iTunes. Then reset the iPhone as per the video and later when you try to re-sync you iPhone on the iTunes, you should be able to load the app back.
