The 16 pro max needs to impress me to upgrade from my 13 pro max. It’s still beast after 2.5 years. Performance, battery, all 👍 Some gimmicky buttons and island and slimmer bezels are not enough to upgrade.

imo dynamic island is far from a gimmick bc of how much purpose it serves. Makes every notification fluid and less distracting. Not only does it make the annoying notch take up less space, it also gives it a lot of purpose. All i have to do is click the pill to go right back to maps, music, etc. The list goes on

Honestly I’m not interested in smaller bezels, cause I always use a case and I suppose it’s easier to swipe “return” when the bezels are not too narrow

Im not upgrading until they get rid of the pill at the top of the Screen.

I saw the Plus model getting a shrunken battery capacity..

People buy iPhones even a couple of weeks before the new one comes out. As they find good deals and they think that iPhone will still be a great phone for them. 14 and 15 line up has been poor in terms of battery health and 13 line up was the best. So anyone that bought the 13 even after the 14 came out, I say well done to them. I know plenty of 14 and 15 users that have their battery health below 95% within half a year. Whereas my 13 pro max stayed at 100% battery health for over a year and a half. My watch ultra from 2022 is still on 100% battery health and I got that on release. The reason why my battery health has stayed so high is because of my 30-80% charging cycle routine that I always do. Never let it drop below 30 and charge above 80. Others did that with the 14 and 15 line up, after 6 months it dropped to 98%. But those that are charging it normally, topping it 100% it has gone below 95%

@@FloridaManScents if you did my technique, it would probably be on 93% or more in almost 2 years. The battery health is very bad on the last 2 iPhones. I've had my 13 pro max for almost 3 years and my battery health is on 97% I don't think I would have gotten that number in 3 years, had I waited an extra year and bought the 14 or even the 15 and I upgraded to the 13 pro max from the iPhone X and my iPhone X remained above 90% in 4 years. I worry for the iPhone 16 or 17 line up. I don't plan on buying a new phone this year, but if the battery health does well, I expect 17 to do well too and then I'd buy that. But if it still does poorly. I'm sticking to my 13. But I plan to wait a few months after the 17 to listen to feedback before buying it right away, like I did with the iPhone X and 13 pro max. I got those two immediately. I also never update my phone to the latest ios until after listening to feedback from customers and every single year when the updates roll out in September, there are battery draining issues. That's why I never update it until they come out with a for example 18.1 or even 18.2 where it's fixed the battery draining issue. That's my second advice to all iphone users. Wait another few weeks before updating to the latest ios and also charge to 80% from 30%. The new 15 and onwards line up has a limit that older models don't have. So they can charge theirs to 80% max and not worry about it charging further. Hoping for macbook to have that feature too. Because I charge my macbook pro the same way I charge my phone

nothing new all the people doing the same thing again after they see the new iphone upcoming they will sell their brand new iphone 15 pro to buy new again or it will be collected like a dust after a few years and it useless and waste of money and they will not contented now what they had instead of keeping it until the wheel fell off

will AI come to the IPhone 16 (non pro) model?
