128 is definitely acceptable for a phone in 2024, it’s a phone, not a pc

Considering most iPhones get 6-7 years of software support and I record vids at 4K I’d be off loading multiple times over that time period. As mentioned in the review my mum also has an iPhone 15, she doesn’t record at 4K and she too only has 30/40GB remaining, which I feel she will fill before the years end. 128GB is not enough for an £800 smartphone I’ve seen some smartphones that come with 256GB and cost around £600, the point I’m making is it would’ve cost Apple peanuts to start the storage higher, but they’d want people spending on iCloud storage… Also, smartphones are mini PCs most are even more powerful than most home PCs and you use them much more, I’m not asking for it start off at 512GB like a MBP, but 256GB should be the bar.

You don’t have to agree with me and that awesome, but do you agree that 128GB is enough on the iPhone 15 Pro? Same iOS, same apps, same 128GBs. Sure the ‘Pro’ iPhones record ProRes, and the standard iPhone 15 is £200 cheaper I get that but at the end of the day more for your money is always a good thing and considering the lifespan of these devices it’s an even better thing. I have a MacBook with as much unified memory as the iPhone 15 has as storage, we shouldn’t be in this position, if Apple gave everyone 50GB free iCloud storage this wouldn’t be a problem, but they give you 10% of that too lol. I can’t believe anyone would be backing a company to not give its users more for their money…
