I mean usually if your phone is paid off you only need to pay $300 to upgrade with the trade in. if you wait too long you'll likely have to come out of pocket a lot more.

I have the 13 pro paid off, battery health is at 90% but i can get that replaced whenever it gets unbearable. Device works amazing in 2023 and it feels amazing to own instead of paying Verizon monthly!

Had my 13 Pro for 2 yrs and the battery health is at 87%, so it's still going strong. I ordered the 15 Pro and then cancelled it. After doing a little more research and realizing the differences were marginal at best, it didn't seem like the upgrade made any sense. Hopefully Apple improves the battery life on the 16.

You could sell the 13 pro privately for a decent amount still and find a lightly used 15 for close to the same price.The upgraded chip might be worth it for the nominal amount it would cost to upgrade it. My thoughts anyway. I never use my carrier to upgrade phone.Cheaper to buy them outright.

I thought about change my 13 pro on 15 pro but i think it would be stupid…

Same situation for me, the difference just doesn’t seem high enough tbh… might be nice to not pay 40-50$ more a month for a year till the 16 comes out 😂

I upgraded from the 13 pro to the 15 pro yesterday. My decision was just based on the trade in value of the 13 pro and that I would just continue paying the same. If I wait, trade in value will fall by about $130-$150 based on historical trends by the time next year’s iPhone is out. That negates any savings in the long run by not upgrading. It’s a VERY nice phone. Somehow even the most simple tasks feel a little bit more responsive. The haptics are noticeably better, and even the audio quality seems better. The phone is noticeably smaller even though the screen is the same size. It’s crazy how edge to edge the screen feels now. I’m also really liking the dynamic island! My one complaint is that it causes some UI elements to be weirdly low on the display in some third party apps. Haven’t really tested the cameras too much yet, but I’m sure they are great. The phone really does feel better in the hand now! I was also very impressed by how easy and seamless setting it up was this year. They’ve made huge strides in that department.

The 13 pro had a nicer color option and really has everything you can want. I saw a 15 pro and I cannot tell the difference other than the top of the front screen.

@@_Some0nerandom_ The iPhone 15 Pro comes with a 3,274 mAh battery compared to the 3,095 mAh cell found on the iPhone 13 Pro. unnoticable upgrade. The cam is barely better as well. and reallistically the only thing that changed that affects speed is a minute ram change

I upgraded from 13 pro to 15 pro.. Giving the 13 pro to my daughter. Besides smaller bezel, dynamic Island, and always on display.. I haven't seen too much of a difference… if your 13pro isn't “hurt” don't upgrade… wait til the 16 pro

Yeah. And I would never call dynamic island "better". It takes up even more screen space and is my main reason not to upgrade until it is gone with iPhone 20 or something when Tim The Accountant decides people already vomit to see yet another same iPhone release.

You can see the differences in the benchmark test numbers, but when the two phones are in front of you and you try them out... the other one is a bit faster. iPhone 13 Pro is still a beast, I have this phone

Hi, what would you tell about battery life comparison between the two phones?

I kind of like the iPhone 13 Pro over the 15 Pro. Paid off and paid off. Plenty enough for your average to novice Pro user. Has the goodies like ProRes and raw and some nice 3 lens camera.

I’m thinking of keeping the 13 pro for another year mostly because I love the sierra blue color so much

Sticking to iPhone 13 Pro it’s fully paid off unlocked. I like how premium and nice weight in it. I am just changing the battery keeping it at least until 16 and possibly iPhone 17.

Thought about upgrading to 15 pro, decided to stick with 13 pro!

13 Pros are occasionally showing up in the refurb store, starting at $679 for 128GB.

What screen protector do you use and can a pro 13 protector fit a pro 15?

my mom bought the 15 pro. which she gave me her 13 pro. and i gotta tell you. 13 pro is still a beast lol. literally no difference for me except the new notch. not worth the upgrade unless u have money

USB-C: do you have to clean it like you do with the lightning port? You know, pocket lint/dust/dirt?

The 13 Pro still holds up quite well, but I’d say that for certain users, the brighter display and particularly the 48 MP main camera sensor on the 15 Pro are significant upgrades. I believe the 14 Pro also has these features, though, so that might be a better option for those who are looking to upgrade but don’t care about USB-C.

It’s gonna last longer if you have money for it then go for it if you on budget 13 pro or max will work

Looking at upgrading, like for like (or better) I can either go with £10 per month, sim only & keep the 1Tb 13 Pro, or £55 per month I can go with 1Tb 15 Pro (Through my job I get 50% discount). I’m not convinced that there is enough difference to warrant the £1080 difference over a 24 month contract period. My 13 pro is 2 years 3 months old, battery is 87%, and I don’t get a trade in discount as well as the 50% off. Compared prices on Apple & worked out the same if I traded in & bought the new phone on a finance plan or outright & took the sim only separately. Feeling like it’s not worth it.

Is there much difference in camera ? I’m getting mine wed going from 13 normal to 15 pro

The iPhone Pro 14+ have larger image sensors and a 48MP option if you shoot raw images. The iPhone Pro 13 is a 12MP camera all the way around.

Basically, only get the 15 pro if - you have a large budget for upgrade - you can maximize the "Pro" features of it - you're upgrading from an older iphone series (11 series or older), or your 14/13/12 series iPhone is already dying or you are having major problems with it - you want the convenience of not needing another connector/cable, especially if you're coming from another phone brand - you can live with either overheating or not being able to really maximize performance of the phone's chipset (due to the "fix") and get/stay with the 13 pro otherwise. I don't think the """speed tests""" were entirely fair, to be really honest, but I'm sure performance difference is not THAT far off anyway unless you're really pushing it.

15 does not have 120hz so its a deal breaker for me since the game i play now has 120 fps and pubg also support 90fps

15 pro sounds noticeably better. I just upgraded from 13 pro to 15 pro yesterday

I do not like bigger cameras and notch taking up more space on 15… Also the curved edges might be more comfortable but if it’s close to 6 it’s like a soap in the hand compared to 5. But I use a cover anyway.

I have a 13 pro and its the best purchase ever. Would not upgrade until apple shows something different in design and technology.

I had to 13 pro when it came out, unfortunately it broke to the extent were it wasn't fixable... used the 11 pro for a while and now got the 15 pro and what I have to say is that the way that apple keeps the high quality on their devices is just surprising!

I still think that a used iPhone 13 pro is a much better deal. I got a 15 pro and a 13 pro. Got the 13 pro (128gb) for 400 bucks, totally scratch free and with 92% batter health. In day to day use it's so close that a 800 dollar price difference is hard to explain.

In reality if you go 13 pro to 15 pro max there’s a gigantic big difference, and that’s mainly the big screen usb c and not to mention it’s some how the same weight feeling as a normal 13 pro which is great, feels great in the hand never had a problem with the size of the phone they just started to get very heavy for no reason this 15 pro max feels great

I’m actually blown away by how much higher the WiFi and cellular speeds are on the 15 pro. Didn’t expect it, but I’m seeing 900 mbps down on 5G whereas my 13 pro was getting about 650 down at the exact same location

It's stainless steel rather than aluminum. The newer ones are Titanium, which is lightweight like aluminum but much stronger.

I should have bought the pro! The max is just too damn big! 😅
