I don’t understand why people hate iOS so much, android is great and in some areas a lot better, but some people prefer iOS. I’ve used android for 8-10 years and just recently switched to iOS.

I know I probably said this before but I'll say it again, Ryan. I love how thorough and honest you are. I'm like you, I love the flexibility and customisation of Android. I have a 5 y.o. iPad Air 2 which is ageing heavily, but I love, but I mainly only use that now for reading; everything else gets done on my pixel 6 Pro.

I used iPhones for years. I tried summing and it makes me love android but not Samsung phones. Pixel now and I can't go back to iPhone. The screen alone makes me angry I love everything that is organized and clean. Software is more than perfect for my day to day use

My main smartphone is an Apple 13 Pro, but earlier this year I tried the OnePlus 12 and liked it very much. Thanks to your review and pointers, I was running both side-by-side in no time, and enjoyed the challenge of learning Android. I genuinely liked many of the configuration features in Android, and preferred the cameras on the OnePlus 12 over my iPhone 13 Pro. I sold the OnePlus 12 a week ago, since I'm likely upgrading to the iPhone 16 Pro in September. Your video on the 15 Pro provides a good contrast between the two ecosystems, and I can now appreciate what's better from each.

I just upgraded from 15 pro to s24u

i just upgraded to the S24 Ultra, and for a while i always would agree that the iPhone did have the best when it came to video, but after comparing both the iPhone 15 pro max and the S24 Ultra and even the Pixel 8 Pro, i would now say that the video produced by the S24 Ultra is not only just as GOOD, but even a little better then the iPhone due to the options in recording @ 8K and @ 120fps. I'm fully aware the iPhone can record in pro res log, but i went ahead and asked a few of my friends who have the 15 pro max and i asked them if any of them ever shoot video in Pro Res log.........well, not one of them has not only ever used pro res, but a few of them even mentioned they didn't even know how to, as i was saying before, i think its now at a point where the iPhone is beginning to loose the title as the KING of video. may the iphone rest in peice. LOL

Selective criticism much? He's comparing his experience of social media management and shooting video outdoors on an S21 FE to this, and he also pretty much mentioned all the flagship phones (Pixel 8 Pro, Galaxy S24 Ultra, OnePlus 12 etc.) for his workflow.

I just sold the s24 I perfer the base models I don't need the 'pro' or 'ultra' specs lol I gone back to using a iPhone 15 and for me it's not hardware but apps, all apps I use are better optimised on iPhones, battery is more consistent there is rarely any hiccups

I really dont believe the 15PM has a worde battery the the OP12. They are trading blows in all the test ive seen. Would even say the iPhone is a bit better, but still the OP12 wins in terms of charging easily

After using the oneplus11 next to my 13pro max i jumped to the 15pro max. Oneplus 11 gave me so much issues with camera lag,slowdown,gallery freezing… My 15pro max just rules with the camera. I actually really like the display to…. Curious to fins out you prefer the Oneplus12’s battery life. Is it so much better over the 15pro max?

Not better but consistent, my op12 gives me 9hrs and even more on light usage on a daily basis, it just does not die and if it does...charges full in like 20-25 mins and the camera is amazing.

It's the charging that puts it over the top. 9-10 hours of SOT and with the 80W brick it charges to 100% in only 30 minutes

Yeah i know charging is way better/faster with oneplus. I just got upset with them because of their weak software. Had a lot of issues with their OS14 (and no, not hardware related). With OS13 i did not have those issues. So i always went back to my 13 pro max. Last week i just upgraded to the 15 pro max. Battery is far from 13 pro max levels. But might be related to 17.5 RC build. It’s just nice to have a phone with a camera which never freezes, forgets to save images or just goes blank…

Which phone is safest in short, in term of private use and mobile banking and payments? Is face id safe or Samsung Touch id?

These are 2024 flagship phones both of them fulfill your requirments pick the phone you like better because both are more than safe enough

iPhone is great ( Build quality, Speakers, Chip, Screen) but iOS is too restrictive and incomplete for me. iPhone can only be my complementary phone and that's what i do, right now. Best overall experience on Android ( Samsung or Nothing) for me.

Have been using iPhone 12 mini since couple of years. I bought this phone just for the form factor. Now I am regretting it. The phone has slowed down and there are so many things which I miss from my Oneplus 5. Planning to switch back to Android phones soon.

Even I had an iPhone 12 mini same as you. Had bought because it is cute small phone and best camera and performance, but battery life and iOS limitations kills all the positives of that phone. Exchanged that recently for OnePlus 12. This is a great phone.

Is there any difficulty when transferring photo/video from iPhone 15 Pro Max to a PC or Windows laptop?

I've had a OnePlus before, and it most definitely is not anywhere near the best android-- to be fair, it was a lower end model, a nord30 or something like that-- but I've had better lower-end, cheaper, Samsung's. s24 ultra is king. as for the pro res log... you most definitely can do this on all the galaxy ultra phones, it's called pro video mode. It literally lets you do exactly what you're explaining, and more--- and then you can use all that raw material in whatever editor of your choosing to sweeten the deal even further. I swear, people don't know just how powerful the galaxy ultra's really are-- or they choose to ignore these things in favor of the iPhone for whatever silly reason.

Try OP 12...the fluidity of iOS and best battery (life and charging speed) of every smartphone.

I ditched android phones years ago despite all the additional bells and whistles that android has over iPhones. It still feels like driving a Ford when you could be driving a BMW. The BMW may not come with all the latest gadgetry and features, but it feels just so much more complete and put together and enjoyable to use than the Ford.
