I’ve been into photography since the 8th grade. Developed images in a dark room in H.S. I was one of those brothers shooting Polaroids with the wicker chair at the clubs on the Southside. Digital photography changed the game and the technology changes so fast and like you, my collection of old cameras looks a museum. You put in the work and it shows. That BlackMagic camera app is fire , but definitely requires some camera knowledge and setting up before hand. A few weeks ago I filmed a camera comparison and used some Blackmagic app video , I need to upload it soon. That Kingston card setup is the way to go if your primary an iPhone shooter.

A Nikkor lens on a cannon body? 🤔 Good video, yeah it's not about the camera it's about post processing.

I moved away from the dslr cams and started focusing on gopro and acepro cams, easy to set up and break down. and can move fast through tsa. when it comes to cameras bigger is not always better. I learned this when I brought my first canon. I would also add the sony Alpha series is good too.

Zoe, I have to say you are on your Marcus Brown Lee shlt. This was a video I've been looking for for so long. The simplicity, the visual breakdown level was so clearly communicated. Can you suggest an appropriate gimbal for this iPhone setup instead of the standard tri-pod? Now I know exactly what I need. Thanks homeboy...I need more of these Flossy Carter joints. Lol Peace

Yes I have the DJI gimbal I think it’s #6 or 7

My advice, don't use ND filters unless you want to capture motion blur. Keeping the camera on auto without ND filters works best.

I actually bought a small 256gb Samsung thumb drive that is smaller than all of the drives you showed.

Yes but in ProRes it will only allow like 15 minutes because a one terabyte drive is only about an hour and a half.
