I went from an 11 to a 14 a few days ago and so far it’s been amazing can really tell the difference , that being said my 11 was awesome and If I hadn’t wrecked the screen I feel like I would of used it for another few years with no problems , everyone complains about little things with iPhones but honestly Apple is killing it

That’s cause you didn’t pick up the 13. From 13 to 14 is unnecessary.

I upgraded to an iPhone 14 from a 13 pro and I gotta be honest, the 14 is better. Doesn’t feel so heavy and bulky and battery lasts much longer. The only thing I miss is 120 refresh rate

This video has made it clear to me that an Iphone 13 pro is a better overall deal than the Iphone 14.

I’m just getting the 14 plus because I don’t need any pro model and it was still cheaper than the 13 pro max. I just needed an upgrade that’s also plus size

It hit the spot What I love really is its upgraded thermal and slightly fast processor than the 13, a good one. I ordered it after 6 years of IPhone 7 use, IPhone 7 still works like , I cannot describe how much I’m impressed about Apple! I’m excited for the 14🎉❤ we’ll see❤️

@@user-fu2xq3kw3m I got the 14 Compared with a 13 Review: 3.8/5 Better camera than 13 Better temperature control than 13, I tried some games which 14 is much better Better benchmarks as well, this one has more Tflops than 13 Pro GPU..✌️ I think they upgraded the speaker sounds a bit than the 13 as well in this one… So overall this one is quite better than 13, but I give it a 3.8/5 because they didn’t add dynamic island or better display than 13 which sucks. I know. But I’m 200% satisfied with my purchase, this thing is a banger for someone who is upgrading from a iPhone up to 11 or 12… For others there’s no much exciting in here, but it’s still a better phone 100% than the 13 Base model..(13 pro camera is better I believe a bit than this one because it has macro and better night mode…and it has 120Hz Display, but when it comes to stability, I believe 14 is 100% stable than the 13 Pro, since they have changed the whole inside of the 14, redesigned and structures all the hardware… I’m pretty sure about that..but once again it’s bad that Apple really priced the 14 Pro with all other cool features which they could’ve given this 14 Base at least the dynamic island..)✌️

I moved from Samsung to Apple a year ago and bought the iphone 13 pro max. Extremely happy about my decision. Everything about my phone is fine, the battery is still rated at 100%. I did not get the pro max to upgrade every year.... in 2024 I may think about it.

As you definitely should. Phones do not change much in 1 year. I would wait in between 2-4 years before upgrading or when the phone stops getting software updates

I switch between Apple and iPhones every few years. Coming off the Galaxy Note 20 - miss the stylus, my live wallpapers and customization. However, I have to say this phone feels very well built. Super fluid . Androids consistent let down for me has been the dramatic battery life change after certain updates, alot of times the effect is irreversible. Always happens around the 18 month to 2 year mark…hoping Apple holds it down with this battery. I only use the brand chargers with the the correct chip too -___-

iPhone 14 is a great phone. Even though it doesn't have so much as pro model still works great for a light-user like myself. Really impressed with how they've improved the processor and the camera. It's always exciting to see what more apple has to offer. The only tiny miny thing is since it's so pricey I can't just carry it around butt-naked. I slapped on a gadgetshieldz matte screen protection film and ESR magsafe case. Good to go with these guys.

Thanks for this balanced review! Many of the other KZreadrs got distracted by the lack of dynamic island and 120hz. I don't need that and most people neither. I will get my iPhone 14 tomorrow.

Hello, me, and acouple people I know, have a base s21, and are looking at upgrading to the 14 pro. We're not sure if we should. Keep in mind we mainly use snapchat and snapchats android optimization is very bad. What are your thoughts?

biggest compaint (I have a 14plus) why does Apple keep putting the power button on the side? not a huge deal usually but considering the POWER BUTTON is on the exact opposite side, I often take screenshots when I'm simply trying to adjust volume up or down. seems like a real easy fix

I like everything said in the review. Except for The iPhone 14 being solid upgrade part. I think if someone is coming from an iPhone 11 or older. the iPhone 13 is the Better buy, because the upgrades between the 14 and 13 are so minor and having the same chip as the 13 that it’s not worth buying the 14 at that starting price at $799. People upgrading there phones this year are better off getting the iPhone 13 series over the 14. But if someone wants a larger iPhone with out the Pro price tag, the iPhone 14 Plus is something to look at but not at that starting price of $899.

@@NileshR12 If the plus size iPhone is your thing. I would get the 14 Plus, but if your into the regular models, non plus sized iPhones. The 13 is the better buy due to all the similarities to the 14. If your coming from an iPhone 12 or 13, I would wait for next years iPhone 15 upgrade.

Kinda, you lose some features like the tele camera and the premium design…, but you get a better camera quality (not system) with new video modes and lighter design…

iPhone 12 Pro upgrade to iPhone 14 Plus. Yes or No? My primary intention is a bigger screen which is a yes. Battery life on the 14 plus is what I am curious about.

Upgrading from my 13 Mini to a 14. Don’t want the heft of the Pros but still want better battery life and a better camera, so I’m set. The bigger screen will be a nice bonus as i constantly watch KZread, as well as the extra gaming performance and extra RAM. Just disappointed they didn’t put ProMotion in the base 14 models this year. Hopefully next year they will with the 15.

Go iPhone 13 Pro if you can get it at a lower price than 14. In Europe 13 Pro is as expensive as 14 and remember you are losing 1 year of updates and you have to buy 13 Pro used (Apple stopped manufacturing them). In Poland Iphone 13 Pro is the same price as 14 and 14 has same camera (except ultrawide) it is lighter and has better battery. Also it will be updated till 2028.

Is it a good upgrade for most? It might be somewhat of an upgrade, but for most? For such a statement you need to take into account pricing... and that differs wildly depending on the region/country, from negligible difference to 13-line in USA to suddenly (as in upon the 14s release day) old 13s being bumped up in prices about 10-20% or between $250 and $500 at retail, and still undercutting what the 14s asking prices are by about $200-$400, and that means that the 14s are not as enticing or worthy upgrades...

@@jamesdonnelly7194 iPhone 11 (or older) users might have a point in doing so - provided they have a plan supporting 5G and an option of switching their SIM to eSIM within their owned/paid/selected plans... iPhone 12 users however could only be getting slightly better cameras and slightly longer battery life... the latter reason basically the same as with upgrade to 13-line discussion... However, for Android users the 14s might not be an upgrade at all. Especially since around the globe, in order to use eSIMs you need specific offering from the service provider that's often different to the regular SIM ones, for one there's usually no option of prepaids under eSIM-supporting plans, so basically "upgrade" to 14s entails "upgrade" to a dedicated contract from service provider which may not always be possible or financially benefiting the end user... after all, the prepaid plans still exist for a reason ;) and sometimes you're bound to specific contracts for some time by the agreement of your contract prohibiting swiching or alterations. Heck, in some cases in Europe you *can't* even easily transfer your phone number to the eSIM offering, it's more of a tedious work with the service provider than just signing off a document or two and having the provider arrange for everything for you within days... And that needs to be taken into account as well. Still, that's not the iPhone 14 fault per se, it's the fault of how well (or bad) eSIMs are supported/implemented by various service providers across the globe, but choosing an eSIM only option entails knowing these consequences beforehand...

I clicked to watch this video because I thought the title must surely be irony at the highest level. But no, we´ve actually found somebody who really believes the 14 (not the pro) is a decent upgrade on its pre. Really? To actually talk numbers in the UK the 14 costs 849 GBP and you may trade in your 1 year old iphone 13 for 380 GBP. A 450 GBP upgrade for an almost identical phone.

I never had an iphone should i just go ahead and get the iphone 14 or will i be good with an iphone 13. The 13 is much cheaper now it looks like

The average consumer can’t tell the difference between a lot of things on the phones. It’s similar to the MacBook lineup. Pro is for power users. The air is for people that just want a MacBook. Apple should take the same approach for iPhones going forward. Stop naming them. iPhone Pro and iPhone Air. The older I get the less I care about having a pro model iPhone.

I had an xr (and loved it) until I broke the screen on it Thursday. I got the 14 yesterday so I’m watching these videos to see if there is anything exciting about the 14 and there isn’t haha keep your baby! And don’t let the screen break 😫

MAJOR FAIL to put an oddball port from 2012 on a 2022 product, rather than use standard USB-C! NO INTEREST until iPhones can use regular cables.

The Pro models are the only models that are worth upgrading to. The basic models are useless.

They keep saying that they repackaged the iPhone 13 Pro into the 14 & they got that from Apple. Every review has said this & they didn’t cause the iphone 14 is the iPhone 13 & not the pro version. Same everything as the iPhone 13 even down to its processor. just because they made the cameras a little better doesn’t make a pro not even last years version. To anyone on planing to getting an iphone 14 cause maybe that’s the one you can afford pass on it & pick up the 13 pro versions cause they’re not the same they’re actually better.
