The V series has multiple stabilization options. You can go 1 higher in settings unless that was already set. Main strength of Xperia series is able to tweak lots of settings so not for everyone and definitely more geared towards photographers (headphone jack can be used as mic input, expandable SD storage, ...). You don't even have to watch much of the footage to tell which is which. The iPhone has a yellow tint and will reduce highlights more aggressively. Best example is 0:28.

You know your phones! Thats true, the Xperia was set to its highest level, but it seems that the sensor cannot move enough to counter the shocks from this heavy runner 😜😅

@@emielkeultjesI mean both are good. People won't go running around and expect smooth results anyways. But yh the iphone is a little bit better in those extremes. Just use a gumball lol

Thats with testing, you put them true the extremes and see what happens. The difference become more obvious faster.. btw i see more and videos of software stab that works fantastic, if you can do it without the extra weight and hassle of a gimbal that’s always nice 😎

It’s weird that I’ve seen much different results when I see videographers and photographers do the same comparison. The Sony looked so much better and is the reason I’ll be getting on.

You can always tell which is the Xperia, the colors are always dull. The backpack appears gray on the Xperia and blue on the iPhone. In the parking garage, the lines appear yellow on the iPhone while on the Xperia they appear nondescript. I wonder which is the true color.

Straight out of camera the are more dull yes. But the colors on the Iphone are closer to reality in this case. The backpack is blue and the shorts of my son look purple on the Xperia but the are not. The lines are as far as I remember also yellow.. The colors in the xperia always need a little extra saturation in editing in my opinion.. But this footage is not colorgraded.. thnx for your assessment 🙏🏻

Was it recorded hald held or with a selfstick or gimbal ? Both were shot in 4k/25 4k/60?

Your video (and I assume the whole footage) was made in 25 fps. Would be better to make 60 fps. I guess there will be some limitations such as stabilization but honestly 25/30 fps is perhaps ok for "cinematic" effect but not for content with any fast movements.

Fps doesn’t effect the amount of stabilization wether it’s 24 or 120fps. Did u expect the outcome.? Thnx for watching! 🙏🏻

@@emielkeultjes Hi, thanks for reaction! My point was, I prefer 60 fps - because of fluidity - it unpleasant to see fast movements and pans at

Your welcome. The only way u can switch lensen is when u set it “seamless zoom”. But i always have trouble making the zoom slider respond to where I want to set it 🫣..
