Google pixels have an active mode too. Also have astrophotography mode and all those motion modes. Also a pixels 6 pro will be a good comparison since it has 4x optical

When I did stabilization, the active mode is on for Pixel 6. In the future, we will compare more phones to iPhone 14 Pro.

i find that my pixel 6 pro tend to overexpose the skin and also apply so much sharpening on the portrait mode that it plain sucks.

Pixel 6 does very well considering it's a mid tier budget friendly phone pitted against a flagship premium phone . Both produced good photos . iPhone video much better, plus it will look nice on social media

Pixel 6 is a Google flagship... Hence the flagship chip. The pixel 6a is a mid tier phone fyi.

Great review BUT you forgot the most important + feature of the apple and that is the 50MP RAW. I own also a pixel 6 but wish google would let us use the full image resolution

Fun fact: pixel 6 is half of the half price of iphone 14 pro and it still beating the iphone in most places. For $220, pixel is a beast of the beast!

Good video, but I think if you're going to compare the phones cameras you should've done 14 Pro vs 6 Pro not 14 Pro vs regular 6 not fair, or at least regular i14 vs P6 that would've been fair. Just a humble opinion :)

Yup. We will compare everything. I wil even compare this to older iPhones and Pixels. I usually help people decide if they want to switch from their older phones so you will find odd comparisons here and there. But fun too! 😉

for the price ask of the iphone it should demolish the pixel in every scene but its not the case most of the shots were equal some of them the iphone won and some of them pixel, video is better on iphone that's sure especially selfie but even the s22 ultra can't beat iphone on that so no expectation from the 6 in that regard. overall the pixel 6 way better in terms of value per shot no phone can beat it right now. in ebay open box condition cost 250us its bargain.

I wish my pixel 6 played nice with my wrangler. If I switch between using Android auto with a cord then just regular Bluetooth the phone always unpairs from my jeep.

It will output the same, the video quality of iPhones are pretty much untouched, no color boosting, weird skin softening or whatever, so what you see on the video test will be the same on live streaming. it will only depends on the resolution of your streaming (bit rate).

I bought a brand new condition pixel 6 for 200$ while the 14 pro is around 700

The photos from the main lenses are still better exposed on the pixel 6 than the iphone at night. More detail in shadows. Not sure why you're comparing the pixel zoom at night which doesn't have a zoom lens to a phone with a dedicated zoom lens and calling that a victory for apple lol.

I know, I've been diligently observing why videos on iPhone is better. I think, and I might be wrong, it also due to the output file. iPhone can output MOV file which is uncompressed MPEG files while MP4 is already compressed for file size which Pixel has. I noticed that the output file on my iPhone is very similar to my GH6 (MOV) so videos are better after editing too. the editing compression has a little wiggle room to re-compress the files.

So the winner fixel 6 righ ? I buy 14 pro in Indonesia 880$ ..

at 3:40, tons of noise in the shadows with P6, also pixel's portrait mode is just bad no other way to put it, and in lowlight, it's prone to sharpening artifacts (details during daytime is quite coarse). I love the Pixel, but its camera is never flagship-grade to begin with. I wish Pixel had a proraw kind of feature (gcam raw does not even compare in noise handling and overall resolution) Great video btw keep it up!

I think Pixel is good for photos. But you cant go wrong with either of them.
