@Mannsaab_0047_ Composition, setting white balance, choice of location, correct framerate for a good slow-mo, camera positioning, and color-grading in post. No matter your gear, a simple point-and-hit-auto shot with no editing won't look anywhere near that good.

I fell in love with the first eye-shot. I love the depth of field on the iPhone but love the lighting of the cinema camera. Rewatched it 5 times already but can’t decide what I prefer 😅

I’m honestly surprised that the quality of the image from the iPhone 14 is even comparable at all to the $5K camera! There’s a bit more definition and “fullness” in the cinematic one, but not enough to justify a $4K difference for just a camera.

So if I’m originally wrong, and that they are not at all compatible, you have to actually prove that. Otherwise, your argument is completely empty air that has no basis.

Its impossible to say that on KZread video. But $5000 camera is miles ahead than any phone . But iPhones are good when u are on a car and need a quick video or a pic of some good sceneries. IPhones are good for vlogs, casual snaps. In professional use iPhones are not close to camera.

The first macro shot looks better on the iPhone 14 because it has more DOF. But the second shot there’s no comparison, the Sony DR wipes the floor with the iPhone

You can indeed fim a movie with the iphone 14, but the camera adds so much depth and atmosphere

14 PM makes BEST videos. No one even come closer to its quality.

cine one’s always the best but since it’s a phone, it’s already really impressive you can just go anywhere and any moment with that phone with good quality camera

I'm not a professional photographer or videographer, but for a layman, it is almost indistinguishable to tell the difference. I noticed some differences between the two, but the cameraman is the one that made these videos as perfect as they can be with maxed-out settings. The iPhone is becoming increasingly close, but it's obvious that a professional can make anything look better than limited hardware.

Still nothing compares to cinema cameras.

I think the fact that we’re comparing the iphone to the cinema camera shows that something actually does compare to the cinema cameras. We know that award winning films have been shot on iPhones these are films and awards won OVER movies shot with big industry standard film cameras. So yes! A good shooter can shoot with anything. And the iPhone quality in the right hands can do 100x better than a terrible shooter with a pro cinema camera. Would You agree?

Not the maker of the video but 24fps is considered to be the most cinematic because thats what old films cameras used in order to get the most fluid movement and still saving film. Some people prefer shooting at 30fps for more smooth movement but it is not considered to be as cinematic. Higher frame rates are for thoae who want to slow down their video in post and can look unnatural because of too smooth or jittery movement. Also something called shutter speed plays a role in this and i think it went something like this: the shutter speed ahould be about double the frame rate so 24fps -> 1/50 shutter speed. Sorry a little late but if youre still interested
