I just traded my purple one in for silver, I’m so happy, that was such a deep purple. That particular purple is a very masculine color, so I think your brother would absolutely love it. The gold is so classy, that would be my second choice. I know Amazon has the purples if your brother is interested.

He’s getting silver and I’m still sticking to gold just cuz I’ve always went with that color. And I don’t feel like changing. Also, we’re getting our phones straight from Apple. It is a little more expensive, but the good thing is: There’s no contract! And that’s what we want. It’s so much easier that way. And you’re pretty much free to join ANY carrier without having to worry about your phone being held prisoner, etc. So yeah! Apple is just the way to go

If anything happens to my phone, it’s replaced for eight dollars a month It’s not bad. I traded in that purple for a silver, I love it it’s so classy. I hope your brother likes his phone! It’s so close to the 13 though, I didn’t see a huge upgrade.
