Crazy how lockscreen widgets were already a thing before Google removed them.

6:56 for battery wear, I would recommend accu battery as it shows exact battery health % whereas electron only shows good, bad etc.

I used accubattery and even bought the pro. However, with my new phone, it doesn't fully work with Super Fast Charging and it doesn't display my battery temperature in the status bar. Also it doesn't give me the input voltage. Only output. Battery Guru addresses all of this for me. But I'm going to try Electron only because it's free / adsupported. I can't find a way to enable the battery temp to display in the status bar though :( But I'm only using Electron to test my Battery Wear % because after 1 year, my battery health is apparently 99% according to BatteryGuru.

If you have 2 batteries in your smartphone AccuBattery will show incorrect capacity of battery because it only see one of two batteries, so i wouldnt recommend that application. Baisiclly no application show exact battery performance.

@@virajsaran02 I think that fixed the issue. I had to uninstall Electron because it's a battery hog with over 5% drain in 8 hours compared to 0.1% with Battery Guru in that same time. Not good even though it is a visually pleasing app Edit: I just tried both Accubattery and Battery Guru side by side. The dual battery said it was charging at 10 amps, so I disabled it. Now it's saying 4 amps and 4 volts. It's supposed to be 5 volts. Battery guru displays it correctly as 5 volts input and 4 volts output. Oh well

It's weird to me that the stock Android lock screen isn't that customizable, seeing as customization is a pretty big part of Android.

I absolutely love "Dynamic Spot", it's awesome, regular android notifications get in the way while I'm trying to do something, having the dynamic spot basically eliminates that and It just condenses it into something small and compact which you can then click on to see the notification, and not to mention the songs n stuff, on iPhone its really easy to skip and play songs by going into the control center, unfortunately its just slower on android to do that, the dynamic spot basically helps you do that kinda stuff.

I don't use any widgets on my pixel 7, one way in which apple and all other companies have failed to get it right, is to just have digital and analog clock customization and dock it right on the middle of the screen instead at the top center. Also, it would be cool if u could swipe thru clocks so if u wanted a analog stop watch or digital timer you could do so and then swipe back to the clock at any time

If you're trying to get rid of the AOD just go to the notificion and turn of AOD there and it will turn off the AOD on the launcher too. Hope this helps😉

Generally speaking, android users are more clever and informative than the IOS users. I have never bought or owned an iPhone in my entire life, but still know more than what iOS users know of. My friend has 12 pro max and has updated to IOS 16, today I told him that you can customize your Lock Screen like depth effect and those things, he was really amazed and suprised😅

Ye true. Apple users just buy iphones and so on thinking its the best or to flex with it while android users either have no money/dont want to pay that much money for a phone or just want an android because they want more features even if they might be more unstable than on ios

Hi, it's an app can mimic Bixby Routines? I use Bixby Routines and think to change to a Pixel 7 but I want something like Bixby Routines.

I would opt for DuckDuckGo's Privacy Email feature instead of Simple Login, but cool enough!

Warden is useful only when you're rooted.. meanwhile tc slim (tracker control) works without root just fine.

You guys need to start using custom roms. You get so many more customisation options. Stock is extremely restrictive and doesn't allow you to use the full potential of your phones.

Google Lens “Text” feature only works online. Live Text works offline.

I would strongly advise people against using lockscreen apps, they usually don't provide the same security and can be completely bypassed (at least that's how it was back in 2018 and I'm 90% sure it hasn't changed especially since apps haven't had more access to how the phone works)

You should've mentioned if the lock screen replacements work with actually locking the phone. KLCK doesn't really work with pin or any other security measures

You just need to download 15 apps that probably stop updating after year and works in the background and shrinks the battery even fatser

I have an iphone that can’t use the dynamic island so I guess what is it my iPhone 12 is doing that android can’t? I’ve never owned an android phone but starting to feel like what’s the point of iOS when there doesn’t seem to be anything exclusive to it that android doesn’t seem to already do.

@@RenM908 Iphones are more stable than any android. Apps on Apple are more optimized than android. Apple also has the strongest and fastest phone on the planet. Apple tend to add android features later on. Like they add it later and make it better. For example the 120hz on Apple is a whole lot better than android which was just recently added on the 13 series Social media apps too. Since devs priority apple products when you make a story on Instagram/ Facebook/ Twitter the photo quality is much much more better than Android due to developers prioritizing iphones/ipads over androids. And more reasons. TBH I'm starting to hate android now, of course it's just my personal opinion but performance and stability wise the iphone 12 literally crushes the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Pixel 6 pro. Iphone is just smooth as butter as compared to android.

I tried downloading some of these suggested apps on my Android 8 through 13 and they do not work as suggested.

I have a ROOTED Google Pixel 6 Pro and I install this apps on my every device 1. AdGuard ( the most POWERFUL ad blocker exist... PERIOD ) 2. MiXplorer ( this file manager is way ahead of its time ) 3. Warden ( this app is just simply amazing )
