I really enjoyed the 12 Pro Max but I did the trade in to get the 13 Pro Max in Graphite 1TB. It takes some fantastic pictures and the battery is amazing! So far so good 😊

I upgraded from iPhone 11 Pro Max to iPhone 13 Pro so it fits in my hands better, I am a bit sad since my battery felt longer with the 11 Pro Max because I got it 3 months before iPhone 12 was released. I am new to your channel but I really like your videos! Very detailed and super helpful getting straight to the point. I've watched your videos with some on repeat because I love how you focus on the device and narrate over them showing us the difference. I also really like your voice you should like a narrator(i mean it in the best way possible) *congrats to 1M*

I’ll stick with my 12 Pro Max. Can’t justify the new phone.

Yup. Same.

Had both. Only upgraded to the 13PM because of AT&T’s promos. The 13PM is a worthy upgrade for two reasons: battery and refresh rate. The battery is crazy…I’m getting 2 full days. I know the 120Hz refresh rate was hyped but anyone can tell this difference. It’s crazy.

Upgraded from a iPhone 10s Max to a iPhone 13 Pro Max. I been using it and comparing them so far it’s a big improvement from my 10s Max.

I just recently upgraded to the Sierra Blue iPhone 13 Pro Max from the XS Max and it's a SUPER MEGA improvement in Battery Lifeforce in addition to an incredible display. I'm already impressed with it thus far.

Sticking with 12 Pro Max. Prefer the pacific blue to sierra blue and will upgrade when they remove the notch. Great comparison Aaron.

You’re exactly right, youtube shrank the video the tiniest bit so that the notch no longer protrudes into the video, strange how fast youtube fixed that for a new phone that’s not even theirs, but i’m not complaining

Thank you for comparing the zoom with the 2.5x vs the macro mode, unlike most people showing a blurry photo from the main sensor…you can actually get a close up shot with the telephoto

Thanks for this video, was searching on Internet to decide whether to upgrade or not. After this video, made my mind & will stick to 12 Pro Max for another year.

My people upgraded from an iPhone 8+ to the iPhone 13 Pro Max and they “LOVE IT”! They’re most impressed with the sound. They haven’t paid attention to the 120HZ yet. And their only complaint is something anyone who had the X has already gotten use to. And that’s no button. But I say, give them a few months and they should adapt well. As for me, I have a 12 Pro Max. And I was going to upgrade because of the 120HZ, Camera Upgrades, 1TB of storage, and the color of the light blue. But I’m not now. Color doesn’t matter that much. I always love 1TB especially with the Nexar app only having a low setting of 20% of your iPhones storage, which I consider ridiculous. But I just want another matte black like I had with the iPhone 7+. And I no longer miss 3D Touch as much. Haptic is cool. 12 Pro Max until 2022. Unless there’s nothing worth it then either.

I also upgraded from the iPhone 8+ to the iPhone 13 Pro Max. I’m still getting used to it cause I’m so used to having a home button. As well as the weight, I now have to hold my phone with two hands . Other than that, I really like it. Only reason I upgraded was cause my iPhone 8+ was giving up on me. It was hanging up my phone calls, not letting me hang up, dying faster , home screen glitched out , etc. T-Mobile had a pretty nice deal with it as well.

@@Salazuki yeah, same thing my people said. She got her glass replaced on her 8+ because they told her it would fix the issue with people not being able to hear her, but after a month. The issue came back. The thing I thought she was going to miss the most was landscape mode on the home screen, but apparently I was the only one who misses that. But I currently have the 12 Pro Max. And I wanted the closeup camera feature, but I’m not upgrading for that. I found an app that could do that.

If I personally had the 12 PM I wouldn’t upgrade to the 13 PM. The only reason I acquired the 13 PM was because I kept my iPhone 6 for 6+ years 😅. Very sad updates weren’t available for such any longer since I really wanted to keep it for many more years! I’m not a phone changer but will see how long this one lasts!! 👍🏻

Outstanding review. Unless I catch a heck of a deal, I will stick with the 12 pro Max. I am very satisfied with it, it is a workhorse. Just noticed a drop down to 90% battery health in 1 year and 9 days of use. It is true that I use it every single day both for work and normal every day use but I did get a better battery health status with the 11 pro with the same about the same time of use. (93% over one year). As always Aaron, outstanding review, thank you for your time and effort!

Upgraded from a iPhone XR to an iPhone 13 pro. Best decision I could make going for the pro model this year. I can easily get 9-10 hours of screen on time depending on what I do on my 13 pro. No regrets! And I love the 120hz

Well if you do the math if you swapped out your phone every year the cost different between that and waiting longer is slight over 800$ in a matter if 12 years. Favoring holding the phone longer but 800$ savings in 12 years isn’t worth it to me. Basic math my guys. I’ve been doing but if your a person who likes to hold your phone for long time always better to get newest model of its out and hold on.

Thanks. Decided to get the 12 pro max. Upgrading from my 7plus which I’ve had since 2016. Concluded that the tiny differences between the 12 and 13 were no where near big or impressive enough to justify that price gap.

I am sticking with my 12 Pro Max as it’s a beast of a device and there really isn’t that much more the 13 Pro Max can do that the 12 Pro Max doesn’t already do. I upgraded from a 7 Plus that I used for over 4 years so the 12 Pro Max was (is) a major step (or several steps) forward for me. I really love the long battery life and immersive screen as well as the beautiful pics and vids I am able to capture now.

i have 12pm and its amazing. 12pm battery literally lasts me for more than a day and sometimes 2 days on 94% charge. 13pm is like a really good phone but it ain't worth upgrading from 12pm. You will just waste your money.

@@morgadox40 I have large hands, so I had no issues with the 11 Pro Max. You can’t tell the difference in the size of the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Also, the 13 iPhone Pro Max is better to hold because of the box design. I also use a Spigen Ultra Hybrid case.

If they'd reduced the notch, not made it deeper and allowed the extra space to be used for battery percentage etc then it would have been worth it. But to me I see absolutely no gain in what apple has done with it! It actually digs more into media than it did before being deeper. Apple needs to get rid of it on the 14.

@@robertlouisebaker-hyde1267 umm I'm not to sure. And tbf they should have already done it! Iv been beta testing iOS 15 from day 1 and not a sign they are or have been preparing to do it. Then they'll have to develop software that is specific to the iPhone 13 range. That could pose problems as it's the same iOS on every iPhone! I hope they do but I really won't hold my breath.

They are _adding_ notches to other products' screens (check the new MacBooks)... They have this notch cult inside apple and I am not seeing it go away for at least 3-4 more years, unfortunately. I resisted the notch screen and stuck with my 7+ for ages then had to give up and got the 12PM. I have to say though, it is sooo good that one starts to forgive the notch after a while.

As an iPhone 11 user, these 2 are very tempting to buy especially the 13PM… but in my country (India) apple products r just way too expensive.. still enjoyed watching the video from u Aaron.. 👍🏻👍🏻🙏🙏

i had a XS max and upgraded to the 13 Pro, like the more usable size but I must say as an average user I see no additional benefits to switching the macro camera is nice but still not too many noticable features compared to a XS max

Upgraded my 11 pro max to 13 pro max. It’s an absolute upgrade. If you’re coming from older model like 11 and under, get a 13 of your choice. You won’t regret it. Also these phones aren’t made to upgrade every year. Get use to incremental yearly upgrades.

I always have this to say about these 2 phones if your upgradeing from a iPhone 11 or older to a 13 that’s worth it and u can justify that but like upgrading from the 12 pro max to the 13 pro max just doesn’t seem like it’s a worth while upgrade but that’s just my opinion

For my opinion, the BIGGEST UPGRADE of iPhone was the ProMotion with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. These are the reasons why i love iPhone - ProMotion (NEW) - New features - iOS support - Privacy / Security - Great cameras (Megapixels doesn’t matter) - Great hardware - Great display - Better battery life - Best performance Sometimes, specs are doesn’t matter.

Aaron I upgraded to 13 PM but originally bought the 13 Pro and returned due to camera bump as phone is smaller and bump kept hitting my finger plus really do prefer larger phone. I will say that I have sold my 12 PM and have to take it to my guy tomorrow and to be honest as much as I like the features in 13 PM I already miss my 12 PM because had a lot of phones in past 12 PM was the best I have ever had to date. I really wish Apple would offer the pro models with Aluminum sides as the glossy sides are fingerprint and scratch phone. I like my phone to look flawless. Thanks again.

i’m a big fan of battery life, the 12 pro max was great but out of curiousity i traded it for the 13 pro max and the battery life is just amazing! it just seems to never die 😂, the refresh rate is really good and immediately i could see the difference.

I’ll stick with my 12 pro. Very similar phones. Great video and comparison. The minor interiors aren’t worth the upgrade at this point. I’ll wait and see what the iPhone 14 does👍🏾

Currently have a 12pm and it’s still a beast although the 13pm is tempting I’ll skip it for now and see what the 14 offers

I upgraded from a iPhone XS to the 13 Pro Max and I immediately noticed the high refresh rate, 5G, better cameras and what I think is most important way better battery life

@@Nmartinez1109 I had the normal XS and also was debating if it’s worth it or not, I just went for it eventually and so far I’m not regretting it, I love the bigger screen, better camera and extraordinary battery life

@@domdomdomme1203 sounds tempting. My phone is in great condition and more than 212gb of storage still available out of the 256gb. I’ve been waiting for a drastic change in look for the iPhone and the rumors are big on the iPhone 14 so I just don’t know🤷🏻‍♂️.

I’m gonna stick with my iPhone 12 PM, I’m not a heavy user, so battery life for me last an entire day or more lols. I do agree that the bigger battery and Pro Motion does sound very nice, but I can live without it. I heard the iPhone 14 is gonna be a better upgrade so I might get that next year.

Currently have the 12PM. Will be upgrading to the 13PM because of the refresh rate. Really wanted that on the 12PM at the time but needed to upgrade from my XR. Most likely will stick with the 13PM as the refresh rate turns it into the perfect phone for me. Plus amazing battery life

I upgraded after 6+ years from a IPhone 6s Plus 128gb to the 13 Pro Max 1tb Battery life seems really great. I’m going to be watching a live stream event on two separate days. One day I’ll have the phone in what I call “normal” mode. The 2nd day I’ll set the phone to low power mode for the entire day watching the same event. It’ll be interesting to see what battery life I get each day. So far it’s a HUGE leap forward over my 6s Plus

Great video, Aaron!! Would you be able to do a video comparison between the iPhone 12 mini and 13 mini? I’m curious to know how the smaller notch and bigger battery in the 13 mini would stand up to the 12 mini considering they’re both small phones.

Just buy the 13 mini it’s a better phone.

Upgraded from a 6s+ to a 13 pm. I’ve had it for 2days now. Verizon gave me $500.00 for my old phone(it was in excellent shape) I was glad I waited until now.
