This iPhone 13 Pro Max came in for No Service, No WiFi, No Bluetooth after a small drop. Well, that's at least what the customer told us.
After inspecting the logic board, we found there were over 25 ripped pads that needed to be repaired.
So I walk through the process of diagnosing & repairing this iPhone 13 Pro Max, as well as show all the tools & techniques to successfully repair it.

since you will be tinkering with audio, might be worth mentioning that I get a lot of buzzing when you talk in older videos. Maybe it has changed or maybe its on my end. But this video doesn't have it, although it sounds like you are recording through a door xD great content regardless :)

Hi i got the same issue with the same model but all pins r alright plus i have a crack in the phone body i replaced it but the same issue remain so any suggestions ?!
I love your videos and learning so much from you. Can you do a video about current leaking power like 0.005A. How can we find the faulty IC, because thermal camera cant show us the heat on the ic by very low power consuming. I cant find any technique on youtube how to do this job. It would be very helpful. Do make a video please. I have the same stencil. I need to try fast. But I've spent all day doing it over and over and over and over and over. Usually I do it first try and fill in a couple holes with solder balls. But is either too runny or too dry. And been using different pastes too. They need to invent a heating stencil jig. Boom. Problem solved easy.
nice steady hand there Jesse and nice work. Any reason why you don't use a grinding pen to scrape the pads instead of the knife?

never tried a grinding pen for this purpose. Although it seems like it'd be riskier to do it with a grinding pen

Does the reballing tool say no hot air because the stencil would act as a heat sink and burn the board underneath? Please do a video with it! I feel like I would never be able to take off the stencil without bumping the 5G cable.

this jig was not designed for hot air. so it will warp if you tried it.

@VCC Board Repairs - Jesse Cruz Pretty nice I use nothing but JBC equipment ... Kind of stick behind other equipment besides their Med tweezers ... I wish back in the day When I purchased there was options available like you have ... Is with using a different station and using their tips .. I've never even burnt out a tip yet or replaced my heating Element On my hot air station Good Equipment
Which solder paste (temp?) u would have used in this case? Is there a different between each models?
This is the case for swap upper layer, because this is waste of time swap can be done in faster.
