I think that this is not as useful in bright lighting because it makes everything look blurry. In night shots or dark areas with bright lights however I think it looks way more even and in those situation I think it’s really helpful

Have you tried any other circular filters on your iphone with the moment clamp? There's some crazy shit out there like the prism filters. I feel like that'll look interesting on the iphone

The filter itself is good, I think his use of it wasn't though. Definitely not for use with such harsh lighting and maybe the 5% or 10% would've been a better suit for those circumstances

Female skin looks more pleasing using diffusion filters. Often it takes the digital edge of a camera out. A very small part why films and commercials look the way they do. Batman has purposely oiled the optics to create a "vintage" dirty look. Unless you are doing it by creating a bit of contrast and using something like 1/8th strength, it will look like a dream scene.

Yes. Grab the moment filter adapter for the lens and then a step up ring to the filter

Noise is an artifact of the sensor. The better the sensor is higher iso levels are doable without ugly sensor noise. Probably a night filter which deals with light pollution will help.

@@HeartlessMLG also they are gimbal where you can attach lighting accessories to illuminate your focal range. Noise is usually created by lack of luminance. This in turn will reduce the required ISO and allow for longer shutter speeds. Purely scientific and not tried & tested. Although something to experiment with.

Looks hazy AF, not very pleasing. Maybe just keep the ND.

It’s the strength he used for the demo. If you use the more subtle ones, they just reduce some of the oversharpening.
