My 12 Mini constantly turned black screen as soon as I tried to turn on the screen, and your method really worked. Forced reboot on the first try worked. Worked like a miracle.

OMG, my phone had different problem. The apple logo kept appearing randomly and it didn’t turn on or off. I scheduled for repair and saw this clip. I tapped, massaged several times then pushed volume up, down and power button. It turned on!!! I canceled the appointment. Thank you so much!

I had to try it several rounds as you said. I ended up smacking it fairly hard with my knuckles. I tried progressively harder and harder from light tap to massage to finally dropping on a towel then hitting with my knuckles and it suddenly worked. Thank you so much!

It really works man I’m still shocked, my iPhone 12 mini 2021 model just got discharged and not getting started even after I tried charging it for like 6 hours goes to the service centre but it was closed due to a holiday. I was really pissed cz I have manage all my work from my phone and all the contacts and communication just stopped that I watched this video and tried to do the same with my phone and it worked after 4-5 attempts, me and my wife are still in shock that what just happened! After smacking front to back multiple times, I repeated the three button reset, after 1 minute nothing happened, I sat in down for 30 seconds and I notice the Apple logo flash up. Thank you! Is this a sign I need a new iphone?

Why does this happen? The button thing worked for me but what causes this issue?

As I'm trying all of these methods on my iPhone, sometimes the Apple logo appears for some seconds and then the screen goes black again... It's getting really frustrating. What does this mean? What can I do?

I have owned many cell phones and none of them became unresponsive. My Apple mini12 is the first to accomplish this feat. I suppose I expect too much from Apple. The video is a good idea but the instructor needs to speak more clearly and not rush.
