iPhone 12 mini screen removal and installation process is very easy, but you will need to keep in mind that the left of the device has flex cables near the opening. The repair difficulty for this repair is only five (5) out of ten (10).

Damaging these cables specially the cable on the top will disable permanently the face ID function. A few cleanup on the frame, and the front earpiece need to be transferred to the new screen. True tone will be disabled after the new screen has been installed.
Everything else should work fine just like in my test in this tutorial. Apple has made updates to allow batteries and screen replacement without disabling keys features.

Hi I don't know any other way to turn it off without the screen or 0% battery. You can just go ahead and open the device (while it's on). Once you open it you remove the retaining plate and disconnect the battery cable, then proceed. It will not damage anything (disconnect the battery cable with your hand or plastic tool).

Normally if you change also the parts at the top of the Display (flexcable with earpiece and sensors) should it work
My original screen is flat but the new screen I bought is the same as yours and isn’t compatible with my iPhone plz help!!

Why is not the screen compatible? Make sure it's the right screen for your phone. Aftermarket screens should work same as in the video without any issue. You'll get the notification of unknown parts but that's it. It doesn't affect anything functionally apart the true tone.

I’ve read in several sites that the phone reheats and has issues after replacement. Even with original parts of not recalibrated officially afterwards
