planned obsolescence is just common sence, of course your battery gets slower the older it is and the newer the software it runs. Android phones are way more guilty of this then Apple, Apple to this day is the only one to support phones for 7 years or longer, and yes they are a business they would like you to upgrade but now they are using a subscription business model. upgrading every year is a waste of money i've gone to so many Apple stores and no employees never encouraged me to purchase a new product actually they encourage me to keep my current product. so all the hate Apple gets is laughable. it's hate just to hate, Samsung is now more expensive and you get 4 years tops with their phones.

@@adamsmiths3016 facts are facts, what other company has supported their flagships 7 years later?? and yes I am a fan of a stable OS and seemless transition in the eco system. That Samsung is trying to copy btw.

@@adamsmiths3016But seriously, what other major company is supporting phones nearly 6-7 years later? Just genuinely curious.

@@adamsmiths3016 the iphone XR was released in 2018 with IOS 12 and is getting 2024’s IOS 18. Samsung’s galaxy note 9 was released the same year (2018) with android 8.1 and had its last os update with android 10 in early 2020.

I've had mine for 2 years and it's definitely a decent and usable device apart from all the bugs on iOS and it's apps. My battery is on 76% and surprisingly it's holding up well for normal use (social media, entertainment, light games) and i get about 6/7 hrs of SoT. But due to poor battery health it has moments when it lags or freezes up randomly which can be annoying but it doesn't happen too often. I really want to upgrade but i'm not sure if the newer iPhones justify their high price since mine can do 80% of what they can.. I would have already replaced the battery and kept it for a year or two longer if it wasn't for the measly 64GB storage .. 😅

I would love to design a techie themed logo inspired by your direction for you! Let me know if you interested to make it happen! 🙂
