I must have watched at least 12 different tech videos this morning to fix a black screen and totally dead iPhone 11 Pro Max which was working perfectly last night when I charged it. I’m thrilled to say that the tapping, massaging and slapping it against my hand plus the volume up, volume down and pressing power button brought it back to life. I’ve never seen this happen in all of my years owning an Apple iPhone!!! Thanks so much for your patience and expertise. You rock🌺

The volume up and down & tapping the screen is what worked for me!! Thanks so much!! We thought it was dead but it was on the charger all night! Randomly stayed on the black screen!

Was the phone making noise at least?

2/15/23, THANK YOU! My Niece from California is visiting us in Mississippi, and at some point before or during her flight, her iPhone 11 Pro went to the black screen of death. When arriving here we heard of the CATASTROPHE. Not being tech savvy, I went to KZread. I watched a few videos, but no results. Then I came upon your video. As I watch, I tried each method (chuckling each time). After a few methods I realized the goal was to reconnect the "board" with the possible crack and I followed right along. The two thumb massage did the trick and her phone is (seams to) working normally. Although I might not see my Niece for the remainder of her visit, I am happy to be able to put a smile on her wonderful face. Thanks So Much!! Marty

OMG THANK YOU! My phone just went totally black for no reason after a trip to the supermarket. I started trying everything you mentioned here and when I got to the tapping of the screen, the Apple logo just turned on. Truly a lifesaver. Saved me a trip to the Apple store. Definitely learned my lesson to back up my phone in case something happens. Thank you! :)

your a life saver thank u so much.I dropped my phone and screen went black, I thought i broke it for a sec. Came online and this was the first video i saw that reset method in the beginning is what got it to work. Again thank you!!

This guy is literally a savior, my phone didn’t work and all I could see was a black screen I turned it off and on but it only stayed on for like 5 seconds and it said “iphone not available try again in 15 minutes” and I tried again and again but it didn’t work but repeating this guys steps of tapping and rubbing the phone helped a whole lot, and I was starting to get scared to losing my data 😭 and nothing else was helping so thanks for saving my life bro

Excellent instructions, I followed the instructions and was able to get the phone up and running, what seem to work for me was the tapping of the screen back and front, I gave you 2-thumbs up my friend.

It’s March 31, 2020- was turning off a lifx bulb with Netflix on in background and my iPhone 11 Pro Max went to black screen with spinning wheel - after about ten times and plugging and unplugging and doing the tapping thing, and plugging and unplugging, the spinning wheel finally went away and three button deal worked - the apple logo came on and stayed on longer than ever, and then the home screen finally popped up. This is a give it the old college try, a bunch of times, before you do any kind of system reset/wipe-out procedure on your computer.

Thanks for this. Freezing my phone for 30 minutes did the trick. It had run out of power, wouldn't charge. I couldn't get it to do anything until I tried the 6 steps. When I removed it from the freezer, for an instant I saw the Password screen, then plugged it in and in about 5 minutes heard the charge tone. It charged and works fine.

Thank you for all of these options to try. I tapped and tapped and did the volume up volume down hold the power button several times until finally after the 7 or 8th time it came on. Whew! Again, thanks a bunch. Listen to him folks and just keep trying. I might not have kept trying if it hadn't worked after the amount of times I went through the methods. Also, once it's back on. This would be a good time to see if you have turned on back up. I made sure mine is backed up on the cloud. Made me realize that if it wasn't able to be fixed would I have been able to recover my data? I darn sure can now. All the best.

My iPhone 11 pro has been going black. I’ve been late to work twice because of it. I’ve contacted Apple and Verizon. Verizon would exchange it except it’s on back order. I don’t live close to an Apple store so that’s out the question. I’m team Apple but I’m so frustrated with this

do not do anything after 3:25. If you are having hardware issues and forced restarts aren't working, the absolute last thing you want to be doing is unnecessarily stressing your device...
