I tried all methods myself on my 2017 iPad Pro (which does have the Touch ID button), I admit I was a bit nervous and didn’t apply too much pressure. Which resulted in no luck. However, my husband tried immediately after and it was a complete success after a firm massage on the back/front of the iPad. THANK YOU!

Margeaux I was actually, not myself, for the past three days worrying about my ipad air, 4th generation. You are the man. Your method definitely solved my problem. With one try, no black screen. Now my question is....will I need any further work on my ipad. What caused this...and how do I prevent this from happening again.

I don’t ever comment on videos but I have to on this!! I tried all these methods on my iPad Pro a few months ago but had no joy and gave up. Fast forwards today when I decided to give it another go and BOOM!! My iPad is back baby!! Thanks so much!!

What worked for you ? I’ve tried everything 😢. My sons I pad with home button fell with case and went black I could still hear sound for a minute then screen went black , now I can hear charging port when I insert but nothing .

WOW - iPad Pro 5th generation 12.9” model A2378, purchased Dec ‘21, so 13 months old - screen just went black, and reset options didn’t work. I pressed down on it firmly, all over the front and back and it then turned on - glad I found this video!!!!!!!

I have ipad pro 9.7 with home button so how I did it is, pressing power and home button at the same time for a couple of seconds, then it should open. But today my iPad is not working even with this. Ugh I try the massage method and I felt like an idiot, but *surprisingly* it works! *OH MY GOSH YOU SAVED MY LIFE* ♥️

I just wanna say to anybody doubting the whole "press on the ipad in these ways" methods. Don't. I tried everything I could find on the web and finally caved and just started pressing everywhere absolutely thinking I was being bamboozled. But lo and behold its now working. So don't skip on it lol

I just bought an iPad Pro 11” M2 a couple of weeks ago, imagine when today it didn’t turn on even I was sure the battery was full. I tried and tried to do the volume up, down and main power many times and nothing this was over three hours, my fingers was hurting so much 😫, finally with the massage front & back and the up down volume and power buttons the iPad turned on. It was a such a relief, thanks 🤗🙏

man what can i say, i have watched a several videos saying do a lot of stuff and download software, and didn't even work out, i just watched the first minute of your video and all it takes is just one click volume up and then down and hold power button for 4 second and it worked!, thank you very much

Massaging my iPad worked!!! I have the 2021 iPad Pro (5th gen), left it charging and on KZread all night and I’m pretty sure it overheated while I was asleep. The low battery icon came on while I was massaging it (it was plugged in). Still charging, will update if it doesn’t end up turning on. It did keep saying it wasn’t charging, so I just massaged it more in the charging area and it seemed to help

Hey dude, thanks for this. I tried it on my ipad with a home screen button (even though you said not to) that had gone completely black. I’m writing this out in case someone else is in my position. I saw another video saying it hit it in a specific way, but that didn’t work so I was skeptical. I decided to try massaging it first like in the video. then hitting it lightly on the back, then turned it over and pressed on the bottom right spot next to the home button. Before it turned completely black, it had first turned into a screen of lines, and I noticed if I pressed sort of hard on the bottom right of the ipad frame the lines would move and sometimes clear up a little, but that spot did nothing once the screen went black. So after massaging and hitting it I turned it around and pressed around in that area again and my ipad went back to normal! Hopefully it stays this way, but at least I got it back to normal so I could make sure to back everything up to icloud.

I have a question tho, will these methods work on my iPad 2018?

WoW, I did these methods with an Apple tech with no results; almost went to Geek Squad until I finally came to KZread and saw your video and BAM--I did your methods and my iPad came up! The battery was on 74% so I do not know what happened. A HUGE-GIGANTIC THHAANNKK YOOUU/UUU!!

The pressure did the trick- wow. I have it in a case, and maybe it wasn't able to notice any presses from the case.

Holy shit it actually worked. Thought it was ridiculous but the two finger method worked for me, didn’t even have to restart the iPad, after I did the method on the back of the iPad when I turned it back over it was working like normal, thanks so much!
