I literally received mine today. Has a crack or two but nothing too terrible ($88 USD on eBay). I completely agree with your assessment of the device. At 6 years old, it still is pretty damn decent!

I bought one of these for $125 for my sister to use at school. While it wouldn’t be powerful enough for me for her a average user it’s great and holds up amazing!

I got this, the Apple pencil and logitech create keyboard case in 2016 when it released. It's still hanging on. I may just get a new battery and keep it going until we stop receiving updates.

Although this video older, this was extremely helpful!! Was debating on getting it for my son, he just needs something simple. I need to FaceTime him, so this is perfect! Thank you.

Still rocking my 9.7 from new!

I've been using mine daily for 4-5 years. It's running 16.7.2 now and runs fine. I started looking at newer ones, a 9 or a 10 basic but this one just keeps up so I ordered a new case and called it good. No reason to spend more money, maybe pickup a used Macbook Air instead.

I have this ipad and honestly with a keyboard case I use it for school work and other personal uses and I love it!! It saved me so much money by not having to buy a new laptop and the battery life is excellent😊

I had a 9.7” iPad Pro up til last year and I love it. It was really the best until I sold it to get MacBook but I am looking into a 2018 iPad Pro this year!

Plug in what you need, be sensible about it & keep it movin' The construction is plastic but it's a sturdy piece. It has a single toggle switch & the swivel jacks are useful as well. Plugged in next to Tripp Lite Isobar takes some of these reviews with a pinch of sumthin' - does what it says & functions properly.Had for about a month. Perfect no complaints will update if anything changes.

I’ve noticed JB HI FI is still selling the iPad Pro 9.7 inch brand new

I brought one for around £315 from eBay in June 2016 just a shame I got the 32gb aside from this limited device storage it’s the most prefect tablet but alas it must stop using it now as it cannot handle the new iOS 17 as the iOS 16.6.1 but for an undemanding users it still prefect tablet.

I have one and I want to update it to iPadOS 17 but sadly it can’t.

wanna ask. if apple pencil 1 is using for this ipad 9.7pro gen 1, is there available palm rejection or no?

Can use this for drawing and animation?

watching on my ipad pro 9.7🤣 used this daily through my junior high school until I finished college

I use a 10.2” magic Keyboard that fits perfectly (from where I write now) and a silicone back cover. Or the logitec.

I have the iPhone SE 2016 and it is really slow now, i would assume the 2gb ram and a9x to give me a similar experience (because a9x only boost gpu performance,not cpu) ,so I went with a 10.5 pro

I have the exact same thing but with m2 12.9 inch and it has been pretty good for me! Battery life is great, camera quality is also excellent and I use it for my whats on my iPhone video! Performance wise is snappy, I highly recommend it if you’re coming from older model! First time owning an ipad with an Apple Pencil✏️

Alas this iPad didn’t get iPadOS 17 😔 but it can still be used just no longer up to date

I think it’s a coin flip for the 9.7 pro to get iPadOS 17. It’s Achilles Heal is it’s 2GB of RAM.

I think iPadOS 17 will be the last update this one gets. I have one of these and updates have like 10 Gb of storage after 16. Anything past 17 and iPadOS will be the biggest thing in storage on 32gb models like mine

@@thebestking2715 yes it does, currently using one and just updated to iPadOS 16. I also have a 2021 pro and Mini and the 9.7 pro works just fine, a bit slower than the other 2 but decent for basic use like watching videos and checking emails and what not. I use my pro for school stuff and I don’t think I’d be able to with the 9.7

I have this iPad and actually doing research to upgrade because it keeps freezing on me.

Can someone help me! Is it good for roblox?

I have no idea what all these people are talking about. I have the 9.7 pro and it lags terribly with apps often crashing. It’s really annoying, and is the reason I’m looking to upgrade.

Same it will last longer and much powerful, the only thing it doesn’t have is that lamination on the screen

Ios 16 is so bad on this stay on 15

do anyone know how to change the screen display so that the “margin” of the screen is bigger because it look like all the apps is “centered” and I want it to be “justify”😢 yall know what i mean？🥹
