loved your video.. I got a question regarding "No Power" for my iPad Pro. Even, charging it doesn't show any trace. My USB power meter is showing no changes in Current supplied. I assume it will be either USB Type C Connector or Failed Battery. I ordered USB Type C Replacement flex cable but wanted to check if the battery is working ok. Since the device is not powering up, how should I check it? Worst case scenario, the logic board might have failed. Can you help me in removing the battery connector and reconnect it again to check whether it's a battery issue, not USB C Connector?

I had a similar problem. Did you fix it? I was able to use a USB A to USB C cable to charge at a very low wattage. You can also buy the magic keyboard and charge through the secondary port. Make sure to only use Apple chargers in the future!

Always disconnect the battery BEFORE the LCD, not after.

@@toweliethetowel8280 The first cable he disconnected was for the sensors. That one is fine to disconnect before the battery. The one you don't want to disconnect before the battery is the LCD.

I don’t see where the battery was disconnected in this video. Is it by just removing the screw near the charging port? Does a cable come off? I hear the phrase in the video about disconnecting the battery, I just don’t see where the battery is disconnected.

@@noahscott7272 If you don’t disconnect the battery before the LCD, it will burn the backlight fuse on the motherboard. If you can’t microsolder, it can’t be repaired.

No. The new screen can't fit with bend I pad. It can easily break by pressure. My air 4 screen is also break

Yes, I been doing repeated for 15 years and I would sometimes come across bent units, just slightly put pressure to un bent the thing. I have done it even to the older aluminum iPods those were harder

There is a chip on the old screen that needs to be transferred for Apple Pencil to work correctly. But it’s quite difficult to fix it.

I have a line of dead (magenta) pixels across the screen. Will replacing the screen and digitizer fix it? I don't think replacing the battery and camera is necessary.

Good luck separating the lcd from the glass that’s possibly the hardest thing you could do as a diy next is the micro soldering possibly

My guess is probably not as long as the wires, circuit boards, camera, buttons, especially the battery as well are NOT damaged by the slightest or almost at all Apples iPads and iPhones have been known to have certain battery protecting tests done through out the years and to think their not getting somewhere with encasing the battery in quit the package it’s being protected in while the connector is still in place the main problem (that any tablet making company if not just Apple) has had is thinking, what if our new device is to thin to house a new so called water proof, electric shock proof, battery leaking proof a new battery which is iffy at times on the size, maybe we might have to just add a bit more metal to the sizes and say it can all fit well for now until the future of tablet batteries can fit at a smaller size. But everyone sometimes tests their new technology with bend tests, so there’s at times some further durability progress being made, by chemically testing types of metal that will still be able to be thin but will also possibly be able to be a bit more force needing to actually bend. A video once showed a chemist in their lab that works for making the metal housing around iPads and they have machines of their own that tests the strength, but in these times, they likely have a best decision made, a perfect formula of what to devise into the next metal iPad sides. While people would love to see the joke come to life that they consider making concrete shells, it’s just concrete is known to be made still today with hazardous chemicals, while their going to try and replace a lot of roads with newly made recipes for concrete that suggests the use of hazardous chemicals used to make tough roads may either one day be replaced with a different and less hazardous ingredient, they still although call a lot of the earths roads by the lots so much money needed to rip up to install less chemically dangerous concrete into the ground with. Legal battles in court cases might even have to be assessed saying that’s a load of bologna to let a electronics making company use concrete for their shells, so law suits may have a while to allow Apple access to this material, while their also now a few years finally just a trillion dollar company and Biden knows it’ll take around 7 trillion dollars just to repair the Golden Gate Bridge, so if cities call it city property not worth letting Apple use, oh well, good luck Corning, Johnson and Johnson, CNN, Home Depot with new invention discussions, hope it won’t take like 10 years just to create a new shell that is sledge hammer proof.

nah, that would make it easier to fix, especially for 3rd party, and they dont want that, no they want to discourage you from fixing it as much as possible so they can upsell you on a new one. also even if it were screws, expect it be several different types and sizes, some of which being proprietary that no other brands use, ya know "think differently" and all that.

I don’t recommend to buy the non original screen., If you replace the screen with brand new non apple original screen, you gonna lose the 1. promotion 2. 120hz refresh rate 3. Palm rejection for apple pencil 3. 600 nit brightness backlight, 4. HDR feature 5. Retina color and pixel become standard screen 5. and also the true tone If you swap from the secondhand original apple display., you not gonna lose anything EXCEPT true tone feature., And remember not to touch the dot projector (on the right side of front camera), most people think that was an ambient sensor, it is not., once you accidentally touch it, you also gonna lose your face id., cause that sensor was too sensitive towards static even if the battery already removed

My original iPad is second generation so I waited a bit to upgrade.
