I loved seeing this type of video, too. It was VERY helpful to see an example of how you mapped out your week, then translated that into days and added more detail (so week view and day view aren't exactly the same info), and then how you adapted it when plans changed -- thank you! I love the practical hands-on example of this, it helps give me ideas of how to organize my planning, too. Love all your videos and seeing this kind again, too, would be great also. P.s. I had to watch this for stress relief after corporate meetings and now I am going to plan/write/draw in my planner 💕, and i CANNOT wait!!! 😂 Thank you!!

I will say, it was comforting to hear that there is someone else out there can put together a schedule and goal list and get knocked out of balance easily by a variety of unplanned distractions. My whole life is filled with unplanned distractions! I have yet to actually use the beautiful planner I bought from your Etsy shop two weeks ago. However, May is around the corner, so I have faith I can get this off the ground! 😂 Thank you for sharing your day and planning techniques.

I love seeing this sneak peek into your life. There is so much in your planner that I forget to use on a regular basis. I have tried the daily method you use (planning general blocks of time and having a list of tasks to do in the blocks of time) but I got discouraged when my sleep time was off and I woke up later than I wanted to. I might have to try this again.

Yay I had fun sharing those sneak peeks! I'm not quite ready to show my face yet lol but I'd love to in future. I normally use a To do list instead of a schedule but I find having the schedule kept me from getting distracted as easily. I'm the same with waking up late (like it happened in the video lol) but the great thing with planning digitally is you can easily move your schedule around

I need those Halloween stickers! I love Halloween and love October. Favorite month out of the year. Your planners look so cute and so decorative. I created little pumpkins with numbers to number each day of the month. But, that’s all I did so far for October.

I am with you. Sometimes I wonder where my days have gone?? I stopped using my planner……ended up forgetting a dr. Appointment and an online ASL class. Back to digital planning… but need to really hold myself accountable. Your planners are perfect for that.

Glad you're enjoying the app! I have digital planners in my shop (see description) with lots more templates and they come in dated versions too. In Penly, you can also add your own page hyperlinks but there isn't currently a way to add a hyperlink automatically on every page at once. Hope that makes sense!

What kind of changes did you make for the 2023 planners? I bought the 2021-2022 planner last year and have loved using it! I just wasn't sure if you thought it would be wort while to purchase the 2022-2023 planner or just use the undated version that I already have. Love your content!!

Hi! These versions are largely the same as the previous planners except for teacher and student where now have single year July-June options and portrait which has a lot more weekly and daily options. I'm planning to make some website exclusive bundles in a couple of months which will add a lot more planner options on the planner picker tool that you might like. This is brilliant. I don’t need to do this as I’m retired. It’s interesting to see how you use this section, I have this planner and there’s so much to it, I’m probably not using it to it’s fullest extent. Why not try the Pomodoro method (I think that’s how you spell it) or just stick a timer on for 20 mins solid, and work within this timeframe? My friends do it and they say it’s useful. I’m trying to work out how you can get the comic sans font from your Apple Pencil! Great video!

Thank you!!💖 I know what you mean, I feel like if I used all the planner pages to their full extent my life would be so much more organized😂 I've heard so much about the Pomodoro method, I'm definitely going to try it. Font from Apple pencil, I think you might be referring to the Scribble feature? You can turn it on in Settings -> Apple pencil -> Scribble. then you can put down a text box and handwrite and the iPad will automatically convert it to your default font

My iPad Pro is actually from 2017 and I bought it pre-owned on eBay. It came with the apple pencil and a keyboard and was a lot cheaper than a new iPad. The screen isn't as bright as the new models but it works. You can also look at Samsung tablets (I have the S7+ and S6 lite and like both) but the new Samsung tablets are not cheap, so possibly check pre-owned again if you don't mind that. For the handwriting to text part I'm using my own font (available in my shop), then for handwriting I normally use a pen size of around 0.5mm (ball pen), I rarely use the pens with pressure sensitivity because I find those harder for writing neatly.
