Not fully explained, if you keep a phone in 1m under from water surface it will survive but if you keep it 10m from the surface then it will survive less time, so this point should be maintained in the video.

Water temperature also matters a lot. I had an old phone Poco F2 Pro without IP ratings. Then I dropped that phone in snow water where the temperature was around -8°. I had to change the entire internal circuitry to retrieve the data.

Depends on a lot of factors...how well built the phone is If there's any gap between the frame and the back If the speakers and ports and sim tray have any protection or not

My redmi 7a was completely submerged in rain water one day. It was a minute at best and 1 meter depth. The phone was rated as splash proof. It survived(after letting it dry and blasting the speaker at full volume to remove water from speaker) but a few months later, the digitizer died. It was changed locally. The moral of the story is to be careful as something may fail sooner or later.
