This saved me, been an Android user since my first phone and was upset I couldn’t get my ringtones like I was used to, which took me a long time to figure out, but this was such a blessing. Now I can have all my custom ringtones back! Thank you so much, was kinda scared it wouldn’t work when I saw there were some buttons/ icons on your screen but not on mine, but thankfully none of those were needed for this process.

THANK YOU SO MUCH - I have been trying to do this for years. I used to do it by using iTunes but when iCloud took over I was always striving to complete this. I have a lot of work to do now to get my Ringtones all updated ... thanks again !!!

I wish Apple would make it easier to add songs as ringtones, but this video helped a lot. Thank you for the clear information and Happy New Year!

Couldn’t figure out how to download song from iTunes nor the internet to my iPhone SE. So, I used my voice recorder and saved it to files. Was able to use that clip. And it actually sounds decent. Thank you so VERY much. By the way, I’m a 64 year old retiree.

Had the same issue you need to convert the file to a WAV file I recommend you use cloud converter to do that

Has anyone been having issues assigning a ringtone for each contact, it just plays the default ringtone. It says in the contacts that they have the ringtone I chose for them but won’t play when called by them.

Jeez this is freakin ridiculous😳 I wished that apple would take some pointers from google pixel phone. They have the most amazing choices for ringtones alerts and alarms. I hate the options on the phone, they are so annoying and unpleasant. Please apple change up these very old tones so we don't have to go to outside sources like the difficult video!! I would expect a better esthetic, more elevated ring options from the likes of you.
