I use that resine all the time. I purchased at Hobby Lobby small silicone cups with a spout in which I add my resine. Pouring it is a million times easier because of the pour spout and you can squeeze the cup as it’s made of silicone. Because of these cups, I never have overspill. I use baby wipes to clean out that cup and it’s good to go for my next projects.

Wow, the chest is so beautiful! You totally captured the shabby, rustic look on it. Good skills, hope you have more projects to showcase. 😄😄

Love this but one question... does this paint keep the pine knot from bleeding through?

I just want to know if I have to use Amy Howard one step first or can I use either a chalk paint or a mineral paint as my base coat? I have the cracked gesso and I’m just waiting for the Mould to come in the mail. I love this piece that you did. Thanks

Any kind of a one-step, the others (you mentioned) can reactivate, and you want something that’s not going to.

I see on a lot of Amy’s videos she uses the gesso for milk paint but uses it to more or less remove some of the paint with her antiquing glaze so could you still use the mineral paint under it just be careful on the application so that way you can still remove layers of the paint and gesso? Or do you think you would use cracked patina instead of the gesso to get the same removal with hands process? Just trying to figure out what products I can still use with my regular mineral paint with no sealant properties in it along with the gesso, patina and antiquing glaze. Or if you could get the same look but use only antiquing glaze before sealing and just really get it on there good and use my hands to do those finishes?
