Sir it’s called the INXS Spell. Hutch hit the mic and the band clocked in and 80,000 people locked up. One of the best live bands of all time. RIP Hutch. You are missed.

Michael Hutchinson died in 1997.

🤣only because cell phones hadn't been invented yet! This song came out in 1990. INXS was one of my favorite bands back in the day. Saw them in concert a couple of times. It was always a great time dancing along to everything.

This whole concert is fire!! INXS were one of the biggest bands in the world at this time and considered one of the best live bands. What You Need or New Sensation from Wembley are amazing!

Dude. At that time, people didn't have cell phones with cameras and everybody was enjoying the show. INXS still is my favorite band today. The music is magic ! You kids need to learn more about real music and the history behind ;-)

I was a 26yo Aussie in the UK at the time & at this concert. YES, it WAS a complete Vibe to be in this crowd. Yes, there were no phones with cameras yet....Thankfully!! YES, I still have my ticket & the memories of a fkn Fantastic day at Wembley Stadium..even as a 59yo now 😄😁 ✌️❤️🇦🇺

inxs is a legend too. I'm sorry more people don't realize that. michael hutchence is a god. He is perfection, and the reason there were no phones is because they didn't really exist then. god, I miss michael hutchence with my entire being. I love him so dearly. He was a genius, is a genius, because he lives on.

Other great songs by them are Never Tear Us Apart, Need You Tonight, Disappear, New Sensation, What You Need, Mystify, Bitter Tears, Beautiful Girl, Devil Inside, By My Side. I'm sure there's more, but those are most of the biggest ones. RIP to their singer Michael Hutchence.

'New Sensation' from this same concert (Wembley Stadium 1991) is incredible, too. Also, 'What You Need' from this show. There were 70k people there and they were going crazy, Michael & the rest of the band had them in the palms of their hands the entire time.

Love INXS.... so so so good!!!! They had Wembley rocking!!! Hutch was so amazing!!!!!! He is still missed!!!!!!!! The whole Kick album is amazing!!! Have a listen!!!!

The best band to come out of Oz, i.m.o. R.I.P Michael Hutchence.

We have so many amazing artists in australia. The banner is being passed from Aussie icons like our undeniable Voice of Aus John Farnham and Rocker Jimmy Barnes to people like Guy Sebastian. These guys all so popular in Australia but relatively unknown in the US.

Seen them in dublin. By end of gig every guy wanted to be hutchence and all the females just wanted him full stop. Charismatic doesnt even begin to cover his aura. This song is supposed to be about kylie minogue

It's sad that now people pay huge money to go to these concerts so they can just stand there recording it through a camera rather than actually watching it and getting in to it. Great reaction ❤

This entire concert was amazing! He sang better live than on the record. You should really dive deep into their music and especially this concert at Wembley Stadium!!!!❤

Phones wasn’t around in 1991, we recorded live gigs in our heads back then, I’m 48yrs old and when I go to a gig I still record it in my head.

The best concert of my teens- INXS & Ziggy Marley &The Melody Makers opened up for them- it was magical

I went to this concert in Syracuse. I was in 9th grade. My parents got my tickets for my birthday. Next to the Eras Tour this was my 2nd fav concert! I also had the VHS tape and watched it every day after school for an entire year 😂😂😂 I was just slightly obsessed with Michael Hutchence ❤

THIS IS WHEN A BAND PERFORMED!!! When they were a spaceship and took you on their journey! They were an on the moment experience, that drop in the music and your reaction!!

This entire show was filmed for a full DVD called 'Live Baby Live'. I've had it on VHS & DVD & watched it from begining to end many times. INXS was an incredibly huge, talented band with one hit after another & were exceptional live performers.

Australian music at it’s best in the early 80’s…..mobile/cell phones were at least 20 years away from being common…not invented yet….but, we had GREAT music!

Yep 33 years ago and it’s like it was yesterday this concert has held up well. And the music well it’s still bloody awesome but us Aussie grew up with great live bands & singers back then. INXS was the best live band on the planet back then no one come close. the whole band is just pure talent.. we were so lucky we went too concerts like this and lived in moment unlike the concerts today everyone with a bloody phone out. Why bother going.. 🧐🙄🤷‍♀️🇦🇺

Such a great concert! I saw them in '91 or '92. Back before concert tickets were ridiculous, i got primo floor seats next to the stage peninsula. RIP Michael Hutchence.
