    The involute curve should be drawn with a dark line, along with the normal and tangent lines...

    Wish i'd seen ths when i first re-carved a worn away volute in stone.....i did it backwards...lol....the boss didn't even notice and it's still there....yikes....that was before i had a good grasp of what i was doing....and it' not un-common.

    The diameter of the circle is 50mm. Half of the diameter, which is 25mm, is the radius of the circle. Be sure to understand this concept thoroughly to avoid mistakes in your exams.
