This patch feels simultaneously super flexible but also very restricting, I think lvl 8 roll downs are kind of break point for if you will win out most lobbies (mid to low roll lobbies at least).

I couldn’t agree more… I wish 3 cost rerolls weren’t nuked bc duelist / fated RR / yone lines would’ve added some much needed variety

@@bigal_3000 thats what i do for my built diff game and go 5th i know its strong 4 cost and its my first time to play it, go lv 8 with like 40 gold and no 2 star at all bleeding so much so i donkey roll, and at last i got only 3 2star and go 5th (which is so fucking lucky, was going to go 7th) and maybe due to im holding so many 4 cost unit (on bench), 1 guy got 4 cost 3 star very early, and another guy got 4 cost 3 star too x_x

@@deadDATA Ehh I personally think that 3 cost rerolls weren't really the solution either, I think having strong tempo boards at all levels but just balancing it out is the play, not being able to hit the units you want also sucks but IMO reroll metas are not the answer really. I prefer metas where vertical synergies are prevalent cause they actually promote a themeatic line to your comp.

like it so much, have been rerolling the whole set and found it got outpaced by 4/5 costs recently and dunno what to do... i think new ornn items are coming out in short? would like to have an analysis on those items later :p and i hv heard 2 annie 2 is best for built diff

@3:50 -- i say the same thing about lillia. i love mythic & porcelain, but now that they're spotlight in the meta & like 4 people are always fighting to run them in your lobbies, the stats are gonna look bad & people are gonna assume they're both bad traits & always have been (they haven't)

For people who want to try something that is a bit unique i recommend teemo reroll. After hitting teemo 3 you try to fill out 4 bruiser/ 4 trickshot. You itemize teemo with all of your ap items (archangel's, blue buff, deathcap) and give Xayah/Kai'sa your AD items left over as a secondary carry. Teemo is super underrated and you wont be contested for the reroll.

people playing fast 9 and fortune use teemo so teemo 3 is contested (at least from what i’ve seen and played in emerald). Also isn’t this comp just bruiser trick shot Kaisa except you prioritize teemo? i think this variant is only playable in very niche situations (5+ teemos with very little rolling)

@@just.a_weird_weeb ya it's pretty much that comp but I find kai'sa to still be played by at least 2 people every lobby so focusing on Teemo means I'm more likely to hit and stabilize compared to hoping for kai'sa 2. I'll admit I haven't played a ton of games on it (I think around 5 since the b patch) but Teemo can shred back lines that don't have a lot of sustain such as Ashe

@@sladevalen2120 if people are playing kaisa every lobby that means they likely have a teemo 2 on their board. it would be increasingly difficult to hit… at that point you might as well level and contest Kaisa no?

I feel like everybody is always emphasising GA on Kayn, and while I agree especailly with Not Today it can come in super clutch, I feel like in this meta the bigger problem is Lissandra/Nautilus/Luxes running around - and I feel like the value of QSS skyrockets alot more? GA doesn't really do anything for you against those comps. The issue is realistically you can't have both GA + QSS cuz you kind of have no damage, so I"m not sure whats 'better' right now between the two. Obviously this means stuff like Banshees from stationary support is giga busted for Kayn. But yeah, would love to hear your thoughts on this.

i think GA/EoN is good because of reset, since i don't build titans on kayn. Qss is kinda trash bcs most of the time i try to position so that other frontlines will take the stun 1st, and qss only works a few seconds

literallt watched setusko play it maybe two hours ago-definitely looks interesting!

Finally the meta that I dreamt about has come. I ran a board that that has nothing but 4 and 5 costs and got second. The early game player damage is so low now that I got away with a random ass first time fortune cash out for like 77 luck with 55 HP left. And yes I am so not sorry to see all the silly 1-2 cost rerolls die horribly.

Okay low key let me cook here. Sett 2 with zhonyas steracks and titans/bt/literally another steracks is actually kinda nuts. I've played it a few times and he goes 1v9 pre nerf Yone mode.

i destroyed these meta comp with Shen augment with 2x randuins items on my other behemoths

It's because you have to flex around what you hit on level 8 most games! There aren't necessarily any strict comps like reroll. Wish we had a few more viable reroll lines to cover but honestly, this is easily the best patch we've had for Set 11 so far.

Honestly if kayn wasnt absolutely busted this patch would be kinda perfect, but hey you can't have it all
