I walk you through what to expect if you choose to get your teeth straightened via Invisalign aligners. Invisalign dental aligners are a great alternative to traditional orthodontia and old-fashioned braces if your want to straighten your teeth or correct your bite. Especially for adults, the aligners are convenient since you don’t have to go to the dentist regularly for adjustments. You will be able to use a ScanBox to send your dentist photos of your teeth from home. What I talk about here is my experience only, and I live in a major US city, so your experience might be different. Expect your Invisalign treatment plan to last at least a year and cost anywhere from around $2,000-$5,000 USD, depending on your unique dental situation. Dental insurance may cover a portion of the cost, and your orthodontist may have an installment plan. I’m not showing before and after photos, since my particular treatment plan was to correct a bite, which isn’t particularly interesting or noticeable in photos.
