The literal equivalent here would be millions of cavemen with sticks and rocks vs TWO 21st century tanks, but somehow they managed to completely destroy the more powerful one with experimental quantum trebuchets and captured the smaller one for study once it ran out of gas/bullets, all while only sacrificing 440 tribes of roughly 350-500 people each. Which is still a fuckload, but out of millions it isn't much.

I think a big reason that “Our” Mark isn’t evil is because he got his powers much later than his alternates. Think about it, if he got his powers young then that would give Omni man more time to train and convert him to evil.

theoretically sure, but (in our universe anyway) nolan's turning point for enacting his mission was mark developing powers, because that proved that earth was suitable for breeding new viltrumites, if our mark had developed powers sooner it wouldn't've meant more time to train and convert him it just would've meant everything happened sooner which would've had some varied results, most importantly the Teen Team most likely would not have become the new Guardians and Black Samson might've still had his powers (i'm not quite sure when he lost them) so, maybe Samson would've turned the tide and caused nolan to lose to the original guardians, maybe they would've handled the flaxans better or worse (though with nolan around i guess it wouldn't matter) in other universes, nolan probably just decided to wait another year or so before going evil in order to better prepare mark

I agree with you this might be a stretch but it seems like omni man didn't embrace the human aspect of life until he was at marks little league game, if mark got his powers sooner, Nolan would still have been in the Viltrimite way, and he would never of gotten past seeing this place as a mission.
