I have the 2016 version, Jeremy Fragrance said Legend Spirit is a good alternative for the 2016 version and he is %100 correct, when I compared the 2 the LS definitely has the IA 2016 vibe to it.

Definitely love the videos. I would definitely try out the Invictus aqua 2018 version for this summer.

I can't wait to get the new formulated fragrance of the Invictus aqua I don't know what is the big hype about the discontinued version I know that it smelled good but it is what it is I smelled the 2018 version it smells so good and I like the intense version Invictus aqua I'm going to get that kind also

Great Work again, Dallas! You make a great point about performance. I start my workday at 4AM.. so 8 hrs performance only gets me to 2PM. I have loved many scents that do not last past 8 hrs let alone the whole day, so I've gotten accustomed to carrying a small 5ml decant of whatever I'm wearing that day. Sometimes I carry a different frag because actually prefer that a frag last no more than 12 hrs because I do like to switch my day and night frags, and if the day frag is still performing, that limits my ability to switch. I will keep an eye for the 2018 version because I tend to like the smoother version of frags. I am one of the few that prefer Sauvage EDP over EDT.

Great review/faceoff Dallas!! I agree!! Great take on new both versions. I know we spoke a little about this. I personally prefer the 2018, because it just smells better coming off my skin where the 2016 didn't work as well and was very sour. That's just how certain Fragrances react to my skin though. Mostly aquatics I've noticed. Thank you so much for the shout out. I know you said you would, but I was only joking and wasn't expecting it!! 😁 Also you pronounced my name perfectly!! Which not many people do for some reason lol. Hope you enjoy that 2016 bro. Keep doing what your doing. In my opinion the 2016 version was one of the best designer fragrances that I've ever worn. The 2018 is just ok I'll prob get a bottle when the price drops a bit more!!

I love the 2018 i thought the performance wasn't that great as well till i sprayed my clothes it stayed on my shirt for 3 days i washed it n could still pick up the smell on it afterwards

I’ve never smelled the 2016. I tried on the 2018 today on an area of my arm. I went to the supermarket a few hours later. One of the girls that works there said “whatever you’re wearing I love it. She said it was strong. Invictus seems to be a beast on my skin. So I do like the 2018. Great video. Thanks man!!

The 2016 has a more pronounced opening than the 2018 version both lasted about the same on my skin but actually like wearing the 2018 version more because of the more freshness aquatic dry down that it has 👍

In my opinion yes, the Aqua is my favorite out of all of them. Works great in warm weather where the Intense may be too sweet for that

I've scoured the web and found *one* shop in Australia (yes, a grand total of one) that currently has the 2018 Aqua and they're charging $132 for it. I get that it's a new release with lots of hype and this is a big retail store with retail prices but they can fuck right off tbh. I could pay an extra $20 and get something like Sauvage or Bleu De Chanel if I wanted to. To give you a rough idea how absurd this is, a 100ml bottle of regular Invictus runs for about $80 here, give or take. NB: prices above are in Aussie dollars not U.S dollars...obviously. So adjust the currencies accordingly.

It is what it is I guess. I was in another big retail store yesterday sampling fragrances (we have two big hitters here...Myer and David Jones. Every Aussie knows these two). They're our equivalent of what you would call Macy's. And yeah, as predicted, Invictus Aqua 100ml, exactly the same price - $132. I tried it and liked it, it's definitely buy-worthy but I think I'll wait until the price comes down or it hits some of the local discounters. I can see myself wearing around the spring time here in Melbourne, sunny yet mild.

P.S. I tried some impressive ones from Narciso Rodriguez and Issey Miyake. If you haven't heard of these designers do check them out. Classy, high quality stuff but sadly not talked about very much in the frag com. If you're looking for a nice female fragrance I highly recommend Narciso Rodriguez For Her. If my girlfriend was wearing this I'd have a hard time not ripping her clothes off... I don't know if they put pheromones or something else in it to fuck with the male brain but that stuff is like sex in a bottle, simply gorgeous.

Unfortunately, I don't have any links. They're too pricey on eBay or Amazon to recommend. Your best bet is to keep an eye out in Facebook groups like Fragrance Swap for partial bottles, thats where I get mine

Just got my hands on the original for a STEAL. Literally just bought the new one and stumbled across the 2016 on fragrancenet and immediately knew I had to get it because I knew it wouldn't last. An hour later BAM SOLD OUT lol. I'm so thankful I seen it when I did.

I bought one of those too, but no guarantees that its the 2016 version. Fragrancenet has done that before with other bottles where they use the incorrect picture when selling.

Chaos Fragrances that's what I thought as well you never know. However they don't usually get fragrances that new to sell. Usually from what I've seen maybe at the least a year of being out you'll see a fragrance on there but I wouldn't expect the new Invictus aqua to be on there already. I could be very wrong though. I like how you bought one too lol. I wasn't gonna chance it I just thought TAKE MY MONEY.

Ronin yes and unfortunately Dallas was right. It's the not the 2016. I had my hopes but ultimately they had up the wrong picture. I'm more surprised that they actually have this newer aqua in stock. I don't mind having a back up bottle though so either way it's a win.
