Absolutely brilliant design and engineering. To take a vehicle design and use concept in the EV space and bring it to market with all the focus, innovation and dedication shown by this group is awe inspiring. I for one cannot wait to see these vehicles come to life and become part of the American Manufacturing Resurgence this country so desperately needs. Congratulations to everyone involved.

Please focus and emphasize on incorporating and offering upgrades for solar and alternative off grid charging technologies... Roll up solar tarp you roll out in a open field on a sunny day and you have an enormous surface area to capture and convert to electrical power for charging. Off pop up and out Mobile vertical wind turbines... Offer solar parabolic dish concentrator charging technology... Offer any and every way of off grid charging... the less reliant on charging infrastructure the better...

To me they are: economical & modular.

I am very enthusiastic about this product, I really hope you guys can pull it off and actually get these cars rolling off the assembly line. @1:14 2170 cells are good but the same design with 4680s would be sexy

tbh they will have trouble selling it at an affordable price when compared to other big companies as their focus on alternative vehicles like Electric and Hydrogen. Of course they will have a healthy share of the market but my guess is that its going to take at least 5 years until they have a really good flow to make an really competitive car. they will have cars that will cost 35~80k USD but it will be really hard for them to make cheaper cars because they will wait until batteries are more affordable so they will be able to really have good prices. they make it look like they are the company for the people but they are more of the company for other companies and small business that will be able to buy them and really use them to their fullest with the customizations.

tbh they will focus more on US and Europe on their first 3~4 years of production. once they are secure on those markets they will expand. they still have to build their first factory. it will be done and working by the end of 2022. after that VDL will produce only for europe so my guess is that if they decide to have a factory down under it will be around 2025~26 specially since they want to focus not on the first buyer of their vehicles but the next 2. if they are able to sell vehicles for less than 20k USD they will try and sell then on the other down unders at South America.

I want to go all in on these products as fleet vehicle replacements but the long period (9 months) between updates makes me a little nervous..... I was ready to fly out and see them in person to pay for 6-10 vehicles in full for business and bring a couple of personal use minded buddies who are willing to do the same for single purchases that love the design and price..... any reason the info is slow coming from this page???

My biggest complaint is range. These are good vehicles, and I love the packaging. But living in a rural area, going into the city which is 2 hours away means I have to recharge on the way home and recharge stations are slow and also few between stations.Can you create a range at least 650 km’s in winter conditions?
