I listen to Jill as much for her attitude and outlook on life as for her explicit financial advice. The world is sadly lacking in common sense advice like adjust, get over it, and get on with life. She doles out that sort of attitude in spades and I both need and love it. Nicole is everyones favorite behind the scenes personality because she is the one who contacts you and asks if you would like a $28.18 sticker.

More importantly, Josh & Michael are easy to listen to and the way they explain things is like I’m hanging out with my buddies. They explain things in a very open and down to earth way. I am so sick and tired of hearing these Billionaire Know-It -Alls who are completely out of touch with most of the audience. I won’t name names but it’s getting old.

Loved the episode. I'll share my personal experience. MD from an European country here and manage my own portfolio since i started having pocket money, circa 2000. I was in the covid frontlines in 2020 and 2021 and decided to close 1/2 of my portfolio between February and August 2020. Lost a potential great amount of money, but i didn't even know i would make it and what would happen to my family even though i was 39 at that time, with two small kids. It was the most uncertain time of my life in terms of investment and i lived in 2007/2009. During 207/2009 I lost "just" 20% but was always fully invested. Recapping, always stay invested, just correct /optimize your porfolio during the long run when needed and never keep dry powder, aleays have some cash ready to deploy. Invest and monitor, not invest and forget. Kind regards from Portugal!

Sadly, you all missed a key point on why people who are doing reasonably well are still unhappy. It’s not that they live in the wrong place, next door to people with more resources, it’s that they derive their ‘happiness’ or dissatisfaction from comparing themselves to others. You may well respond “ that’s just human nature” but so are the seven deadly sins. We would ourselves be happier, and would teach valuable lessons to our children, if we learned to strive for internal rewards for our accomplishments rather than seeking to keep up with or do ‘better’ than our neighbors.

She’s amazing, such a kind person. You all are great and I appreciate you. But, yes, there is a minimum amount of money needed in life. However, money doesn't guarantee happiness, especially in situations like mine where I am permanently disfigured and in chronic pain. I used to have a wonderful life before things took a turn for the worse. Money won't change my circumstances. So, what is the solution to my situation? I'm trying to make money in the market, but so far I'm down 80%. It's been a tough journey, I may never fully recover, but I'm committed to learning every single day. Grateful for all of you.

Love the idea of happiness. You’re missing the point of having a strong spiritual relationship contributing to happiness. Money definitely helps cause it gives you freedom and security but it’s not everything
