@@InvestInYourself you're welcome Giovanni, I'm going to buy the paperback one so my husband can read it, too since he's still resistant to the idea of investing. However, we are living in France (my husband is French). The book although very useful in giving me an idea of what investment is like, I'm at a loss as to how to apply it here in France. I see that although you are living in the US right now, your family is still in Europe, the Netherlands. I wonder if your family members over there are investing, too? If so, it would be so kind of you to cover this knowledge for European investors specifically. I know it would take a lot of effort for that but no harm in asking, right? 😅

@@me0di3n The same information applies. The only difference would be figuring out which European investment firms to go with, such as interactive brokers (a quick google search in france should give you a list to start with). The other thing would be to figure out what they call index funds, mutual funds, ETFs and bonds in France, meaning the naming will be different but the underlying investment tool will be the same. Even in France you can invest in the same american equities if you want to, such as the S&P 500. Europe also has good individual stocks to invest in, but like I said, you are not limited to only investing in companies in your particular country. You can invest worldwide. Also, tell your husband that I was in Paris on vacation back in December. I was there for 4 days. I published a vlog on it, but it's in Dutch and on one of my other channels.
