This video is so damn true tho. I run a boutique hotel and the things people find to complain about to get a discount is astonishing. I once had a couple complain about the flies in my town and actually expected a steep discount on their room, even though the room itself was free of flies. And don't even get me started on "service animals"! People like that lack tragedy in their lives and have no idea what life is like for the not rich on the other side of the desk. This goes for any customer service jobs.

I'm stealing that "white noise" line for work

We had a really bad blizzard and most people's water lines were frozen for a week or more. A supervisor came in all dejected and sad saying how they weren't able to use the hot tub at their 2nd home that weekend. It worked but the chemical levels were off. So sad.

I showed this to my in-laws because I knew they wouldn't get it. They didn't, which was funny to me and the entire point of the exercise.

Mia Hallberg Why when something is offensive to white people do they automatically say “well if it was a black person, (blank)”.... Isn’t that assuming that the plight or issues that black People bring up is somehow invalid? That question alone is racist and passive. Educate yourself.

in the Philippines we dont call them white people problems (cause we all brown. and white and yellow. not the point) we call them stupid shallow rich kid problems or stupid self absorbed problems or in our tongue Paimportante which roughly translates to "We think we're important"

That's a fallacie. Just because it's a minority, it doesn't mean it can't hurt a majority. I am hurt whenever I get stuck in one of these sterotypes because of how I look. You think majorities should not be affected by what minorities say, which to me is dumb, because I think what minorities have to say matters. And if someone calls someone out on bs, they should be taken seriously, right? Besides, this sketch in particular is about rich people problems. Not white people problems. Don't know many people with a five bedroom beach house and I'm white af.

+Waspsalander Lisbeth cause white people problems are poking fun of weird/unusual things they sometimes do, like having a serious love for starbucks, but if we're talking about stereotypes of black people its usually 100% negative like stealing, slavery etc. stereotyping blackpeople is always more harsh than stereotyping with people, cause the stereotypes differ that much.

I love how SNL sketches keep coming on my feed. I've watched hundreds. I'm truly afraid they'll just run out anytime sooner than later.
