Artyom came across what's seemingly an outpost for the children of the forest on his way to the dam. The so-called 'pirates' warned him of not setting foot in their territory or there will be consequences. They also mentioned another 'drifter' being captured which is safe to assume to be Alyosha.
Artyom now has to navigate thru the said Outpost, on his way to the dam, while also trying to learn of Alyosha's fate and whereabouts.
Unbeknownst to Artyom at the time, humans would be the least of his problems.

metro exodus really changed alot from it's predecessor. I suggest u play the other 2 games aswell its more focused on horror and less action

I played those two and I'd say I like them better as lon as immersion is concerned. Great and underrated games! Thank you for watching!
