Yes. Dividend once announced is paid no matter you bought at which price.

You have done a good job but the dividend is based on the face value rather than market value..unless you highlight this point the whole exercise amounts to misleading...would appreciate if you review your presentation keeping the face value and market value in account..thanks.

Iske ke mukaable term deposit certificates zyada profitable nahi hai? 500,000pkr ke amount pai monthly 14000pkr receive ho rahe hai after tax deduction (15%). 1,000,000pkr ke amount pai monthly 28000pkr receive ho rahe hai after tax deduction (15%). and so on.

My calculation is with the assumption of a specific dividend yield irrespective of share-price. The total investment required to make 1 Lac in dividend depends on dividend yield irrespective of the market price of the share.

Hello bro... Your calculations are wrong ur have total share is 141000 and dividend yield 20% means u receive 2 ruppes on every share in a year . It means u got 141000*2=282000 in a year and monthly is earn 23500 .. If I'm wrong .. please correct me. Thanks..

Please don't confuse between Dividend Yield and Dividend Percentage that is announced by companies. Dividend yield of 20% doesn't mean 2 Rs Dividend. Dividend Yield is calculated based on last one year dividend amount and current share price. If the difference between the two is clear to you, calculations will be all good :)

The calculation is absolutely wrong. Percentage dividend by all companies are paid on the basic rate / face value of a share which is usually 10 rupees. So a yearly dividend of 20% will mean 2 rupees per share. Now if the share’s current value is 50 rupees then the dividend only comes to four percent. It is further reduced after deduction of tax.

No i think you are mistaken , you have to calculate how much a company is paying as dividend per share every quarter or whatever , in rs . sum up that total rupees of dividend and divide it by the total share price will give you total yeild

Brother you have error if you are buying 500 worth stock price, its yield will be calculated on face value not on current values. and I don't think there are many shares at Rs. 50 to provide you 20% yield

no... dividend Company k profit ka wo hissa hota hy jo Company apney Shareholders mey taqseem krney ka faisla krti hy. maslan Agar company k Share ki face value 100rupey hy, or Company saal mey Per share (EPS) 20rupey kamati hai. tou phir directors meeting call krtey hain or Aapas mey decide krtey hain k kitna % dividend shareholders ko dena hai, kitna reserve rakna hai or kitna retain krna hai. ya phir company dividend naa de kr Bonus shares bhi de sakti hai..

No brother you are wrong. In my sheet I mentioned dividend yield percentage and not dividend payout percentage. Dividend yield is based on price and not on face value.

Face value 10

I think we get a dividend yield on the stock base price which is Rs 10/- So, as in the video if we are getting a 20% dividend yield then the profit should be Rs 1.7/- after tax deduction. waiting for your feedback

@@PersonalFinanceOpinions I think you are wrong. Devidend is based on Rs. 10 . For example FFC announced 20% dividend it means FFC would give you Rs. 2/ share. If your purchase price is 100 per share, then actually you will earn 2% dividend income on your investment of Rs. 100 per share. Simple, hope samajh agai hogi. So for getting one lac income, 50000 shares will be purchased and its value would be 50000*100=5000000
