Great content bro, it's good to see someone has the same train if thought that I do. I always could see Crown Zenith was a deep set and usually that's the biggest factor in sets going crazy. Crown Zenith boxes are still being released, there is a Lugia collection crown Zenith box being released in a week or so which will be the last crown Zenith product on the market giving it an 8 month stretch of different product releases. With the long release date and the last of sword and shield and yellow borders I have a feeling there won't be any reprints. It's like Pokemon gave us ample opportunity and when it's gone that will be it. It will be the crown jewel of a golden era. 👍💯🔥

I'm so glad you ended up drawing the closest comparison of CZ as HF, I was thinking the exact same thing 😂 I'd personally hold on CZ if you're buying for the flip but if you're looking for a 2-5 year-old or for singles then I'd agree that the time might be now. I think there will be lots of deals going on with CZ during the holiday period for you Americans in the audience. I'm just hoping us in the U.K. see some deals too haha

ya, stocked up on morpeko vunion boxes, figure collection boxes, and etbs a few months ago. i think it has a fair chance to pop up in some sales before the end of the year if you wan those 20/40/45 price points

The morpekos were already under $20 with the recent gamestop buy one get one deal. I picked up a few orders of those and the pikachu set as well. But i don't see the best prices for the premium collection and etbs until later this year like you said.

Just recently bought 3 of the sealed pin collection blister pack cases of 12. CZ is a no brainer and its the closest thing to a bb with 36 packs sealed total

The Mewtwo V Alt Art is undervalued! The artwork is straight from the commercial that got a ton of people back into the hobby!

Grand Gallery is one of the best gallery’s ever made the artwork is supreme & it includes a lot of the Pokémon from kanto-johto which hits home for a lot of people. The eeveelutions are beautiful the gold cards imo are the best ones to date .. love crown zenith

I'm so gutted about how Pokemon Go turned out. I remember when trying to get it all on pre order for my son birthday and it was so hard to find sold out everywhere. One company even had to refund multiple people money back and give us a discount for our next order for taking our money and not being able to fulfill all their pre orders.. Then it became so easy to find and we finished the master set. I personally think its a cool little set, the hype with the ditto peel cards my kids loved. I like the radiant big 3 and the alt art Mewtwo and Rainbow one of my fav pokemon.

Looking at data 6-7 months after release is always the time to buy on singles and sealed

totally agree Crown Zenith will most likely do very well in the future, it's basically a reprint set with new arts of some of the most iconic playable cards of the SWSH era.

Bought a case of these ETB's for $50 a piece and a stack of those 3pack blisters at a fairly lower cost per pack than the ETB's, I'll still hold for a few more years though of course

IDK if you saw, but last week Gamestop had buy one get one half off on Pokemon products for pro members. Couldn’t get CZ ETB’s, but loaded up on those Morpeko boxes.

You remind me of Ernest P. Worrell when you cross your arm and speak like that😅. Those were my childhood movies man I miss him. Also I stacked up on the zacian and zamazenta boxes and the marnie morpeko boxes. Holding them for the future gains!

The Zacian/Zamazenta boxes seem like such a better buy right now, as opposed to the ETB. Many vendors have them in the $45-50 threshold.

Ya for sure. I was just comparing ETBs because every set has one so it made for better comparison.

Hence why I bought a few cases of CZ ETBs and packs galore.

I have 4 CZ etbs stashed away safely. 2 SEALED cases of the Pikachu vmax boxes. One set of the pin collection. 2 sets of the 5pack tins. High on this set in general.

Pre-order singles are always expensive because of several factors; players want them in their deck right away and/or collectors/investors want to be the first to have them graded. Supply and Demand. Sealed truly gains value in the out years when supply declines over time after they are no longer in reprint radar.

I’m loaded with GG singles. Can’t wait till most of em are over 20 bucks a card. Knowing o got them dirt cheap

The pricing for PC ETBs has more to do with the scarcity of the product than the value of the set. If we're lucky PC ETBs get 1 actual replenishment and that's it.

@@JohnDoe-ld8nr sure but I’m just saying to use it as an indicator. Celebrations is also $120 for a PC ETB and a regular celebrations etb is $85. I could see CZ getting to $85 for an ETB very quickly as shelves continue to empty without a restock/reprint.

Crown Zenith was my entry point into this space, so I don't really know much of previous sets but I wonder if the Pokemon Center ETB plays into the price point as the comparison you made to Hidden Fates idk if that has a Pokemon center version that could take the increase in price. But great video Alex. Although you can come off a little blunt, I have been watching your videos for a couple months and they are both informative and entertaining. Keep it up!

We don't know how it works.. i feel like printing on a silver sheet and switching to a yellow sheet would just be more expensive to do. Also I have a strong feeling that when they are printing older sets, they would have to sale at the old MSRP.. All around it seems just more complicated now then it was before S&V to do reprints

The etbs seemed really low printed which leads me to believe they will be reprinted. My timeline is black Friday or so. If they aren't though, these will have to skyrocket in price. On the opposite side, i just bought 12 cz zamazenta/zacian premium collection boxes for $45 w/ free shipping on TCGPlayer two days ago. So the etbs with 10 packs are $65 and premium collection with 11 packs are $45ish. I will keep grabbing more at that price if possible. And i agree Alex i don't see this set going to $170 per etb like hidden fates but this set will still crush compared to others in the sword and shield era.

Bruh…. Are you some kind of wizard? Reprinted for Black Friday and prices for etb and singles have TANKED from this video…. ;) sub $40 etb!

I always mention that if shining fates hadn’t been absolutely NUKED in reprinting then I think it would be a different conversation. The set was comparable to HF but just weaker but MAN I could not fathom the size of the printing that happened for SF it is insane. I still see boxes around my local store to this day.

It was the little brother to hidden fates but little bro whored himself out like no other and now has very limited his upside. I am highly leveraged in that set too. Kind of a tragedy.

It's so hard to say at the inflated prices. I mean PC ETB at retail on the Pokemon Center was a no brainer but at $100 a box... I dunno which is better now.
