~Inversion over Bratislava~ (From Devín to Devínska Kobyla, Königswarte)
Devín and Devínska Kobyla are unique locations within Bratislava that are worth visiting and that can be connected by an easy hike in one day. On the outskirts of the Little Carpathians, they once co-created the sea coast, as evidenced by today's dry character of the landscape with sandy bedrock. Devin Castle, located on an impressive cliff, as well as the lookout tower on Devínska Kobyla usually have great views, e.g. over the confluence of the Danube and Morava rivers as well as over 4 different countries, especially the neighbouring Austria.
We made our hike from Devín to the Devínska Kobyla lookout tower during a time when the levels of both mentioned rivers rose due to rains and partially flooded the countryside. As if this state of affairs gave us an idea of what awaits us the next day. Coincidentally, we decided to visit the lookout tower repeatedly in the next morning. And then we had the opportunity to see what this location might have looked like once when it was completely flooded with water. Because it was quite an experience for us, we repeated the morning trip to the Bratislava sea a day later, this time from the Königswarte lookout tower.

Ďakujeme pekne za komentár. Rozhľadňa tam je zhruba od Covidu. Človek dovidí od Bratislavy po Vysokú či Scheeberg, za jasného počasia až k Viedni. Prajeme príjemný daždivý deň, najlepšie spoza okna :)

Co napsat ? Jednou podívat se nastačilo...dokonalé, jak už je napsáno níže. Dechberoucí záběry. O Bratislavském moři jsem slyšela poprvé a už budu vědět, že opravdu existuje . Díky 👍👍👍

Thank you very much, the big snowy mountain is Schneeberg, that is where the Austrian Alps begin. On clear days it is visible from several places in Bratislava. One can even see Vienna from this watchout tower on such days. Best regards to your place :)
