The helos were carrying you throughout this game! They're still very useful! The armour should give more protection against small arms but idc about autocannons and hmgs on scouts and ifvs tearing them apart.

That might be cool if they gave it like super low accuracy and fixed helicopter altitude and firing attributes. A helicopter would never be stuck flying a couple hundred meters above the ground. If they could do proper "gun runs" and not have to stop to fire (which is a fucking joke if you think about it) then they might be more useful than the flying "glass cannon" that they are right now. As it is it feels like a holdover from Wargame.

I just now figured out why you're putting the artillery quotes at the start of your videos. I am very smart.

Good game! That "quick fix" was one of the new jammer units. They nerf recon within their radius by eliminating the 'corrected shot' radius and debuffing all exceptional optics down to very good but only if the recon unit is inside the radius. Imo the jammer radius is too small right now for what it's supposed to do to be worth the price and the slot. And if one player comes at you with only very good optics and arty that consists only of MLRS and mortars then the jammer is theoretically useless.

The EH-60a Quickfix one of those new jamming helicopters of questionable utility, I think 39y gets a Mi8 equivalent. Degrades optics provided by ground surveillance radar or something, idk if it effects radar AA

It ONLY effects units with ground based radars (i.e. any ground unit that has exceptional optics) whether they're mobile like the Green Archer of use the GSR trait like LRS/Spetsnaz GRU. It does not effect arty corrected shot (that's a bug, they're meant to stop it within their radius) and it does nothing to other units.

I think it's actually really good in team games and 10v10 but useless (except for the US one with very good optics) in 1v1. Because of its stupid high ECM rating and 8hp it's pretty easy to keep alive and a very good optics helo alone is worthwhile, the jamming can actually be very annoying for gsr dependent recon.

@@normieloser6969It's not so much that it sucks but it is a specialty weapon made for a special purpose. It's in its intended role a pretty good weapon. but in a game like warno you can't really simulate that.
