Watching United battle their way through the Championship is like watching Hearts when we had to do the same. The majority of our support were expecting 4 and 5 nil victories every week, but the reality of competing in that league is nothing like that. It's a battle and a grind every single week and when we finally won the league, instead of it being an outright celebration, it was more like 50% celebrating and 50% combat fatigue :) . One of the best things Robbie and big Jig instilled in the players was that instead of each game being a cup final for the so-called smaller teams, the fact was that the reverse was true, that every single game in that division had to be treated as our cup final, a combination of cup finals, that would get us back to the Premier League where we belonged.
