I thought the exact same thing. I certainly hope her career shift as a chef worked out, because she didn't do her career in medicine any favors by saying that. She tanked herself.

it is so interesting watching the old series as John and Greg are much harsher than they are now.

The original Masterchef Australia judges used to hammer home that contestants should do one thing but do it perfectly.

Loved the first seasons of Australia's Masterchef. These two judges, though, I have a fondness for going back before Australia's debut onto the Masterchef stage.

I have watched many seasons of this show, and I've liked John for the most part. But I seriously cannot believe he randomly lost it, and screamed at the top of his lungs at that dude. That was fkin bizarre and really uncomfortable. I mean, even Greg looked at him like, "WTF?!?" I've read that John is a really severe alcoholic, and I'm honestly wondering if he was loopy during this judging. I've never, ever seen him do anything like this again in the later seasons, and I bet that's at least in part because he got a talking to by the producers. I mean, these people are amateur chefs ffs! They don't deserve to be treated like that. They're just doing their best. I have no doubt that every single person in that room was totally shocked by his behavior. I mean he truly lost his temper for real. If you pause it on his face while he is screaming, he looks like he's about to murder someone! I'm really glad he cut that crap out, because that behavior is just unbearable. Also, why does he stick his tongue out like a damn lizard when he is tasting people's dishes? He's always been bad about it that, but damn...I just want to smoosh his tongue back into his mouth when he does it. That shit is out of control. Lol

It's left overs - mainly cabbage and potato - made into loose patties with egg and pan fried...or just a pan full fried and serves created from that. Ideally crispy on outside.

you really need to check the subtitles before you let this go out. There are many mistakes and it is a shame. Simple words are not spelled correctly. really a lot of mistakes....

It annoys me too, it disrespects (even though it's probably unintentional) a very important group of people. The deaf community AND the hard of hearing. So two groups really.

Ummm...the person who uploaded this video has nothing to do with creating the subtitles for it. Anytime you click on the bubble to turn on closed captioning for any video, they are generated automatically by KZread. You need to take it up with them.

Then why are some channels better than others? But yes, if it's KZread, then the criticism is for them. The only way we can take it up with them is via the channel owner.

@@nukasnook1561 I don't know why, but I guarantee you, it's KZread's doing. My guess is that they are auto-generated, probably through AI.

The problem with these old series is how clueless and classic British the judges are. If its not covered in butter they don't like it, much better with Marcus and Monica

You're talking about Masterchef: The Professionals, which is a completely different series. I do agree with you about Greg and John though. Fortunately they do get a lot better in later seasons.
