@@KlutzyNinjaKitty when you get to know someone irl it usually takes longer to know you're attracted to them because you're learning the basic stuff about them- their family life, their friends, the things they like and why they like them... or you just think they're pretty! -But either way, when you meet someone for the first time on a dating app, you're meeting in the context that you were on there *just* to date. You might get a really good vibe from someone and become official, but over time discover incompatible traits that don't show up until you've known them for awhile. This animation shows that well. The two animals met, dated very fast, and fell out once they discovered how their chemistry actually worked. This totally happens with meeting people organically too, by the way. I just notice it happens more often through dating apps.

i like how the looping implies they eventually get together again just to repeat the cycle. Truly toxic codependency.

​@@NarcissistMargarine I get that. Me and my now ex fiancé faded out. I was afraid and knew it was happening, but practically sold my soul to try and assure it didn't. I did everything I could. In the end I think what hurt most is, despite loving me a few months prior, they just suddenly changed, and its like the next day, they didnt love me anymore. they even said they werent fully sure on the engagement, even though we discussed it and both mutually proposed. I also found out they'd apparently wanted to break up for months now but just.. Lied and promised they still love me. Even now, as we are still best friends and talk daily, it still kind of sucks they had lied(to apparently protect me as said,) even when asked to only tell the truth even if it hurts. Fading out sucks, and its happened to both of my longest relationships. I recommend trying to discuss it with your partner, press for the truth of how they feel and discuss the best asap option rather than letting it fizzle out and it aching more. It helps. I wish you luck, friend. Sometimes theres nothing you can do, and even if you didnt do anything and were a good partner, some people just dont work out. Best of wishes.

For me, it's the fact I'm a guy, and he's a guy, with a deeply religious family. They wouldn't approve of us so it's come down to choosing between his family or me, which is a situation I hope never to put anyone in ever again. I can tell we both know it's a deeply problematic part of our relationship, but it's an unspoken rule that we don't mention it. And you're right, we should just talk about it. We're both just scared that acknowledging it will mean the same conclusion; that this won't work out. But it's probably better to just accept it now rather than wait until it hurts even more. I'm sorry for what happened to you, too. This is my first relationship and I'm learning very quickly that they are incredibly complicated, even if you both genuinely love each other, sometimes it's just not enough. Hang in there man.

personally, i somewhat have the feeling that moon is more enthusiastic and lenient towards a typical romantic relationship, while honey is more interested in what looks like a friendship, though he probably doesnt realize this. but one thing is clear, they both are really only interested in the concept of a relationship, and theyre both rushing things. i think the fact that theyre only seen having fun in hangout scenarios kind of confirms this, and while i know things happened off screen since this is only a short animation anyways, we dont see them talk or interact much in their personal spaces, that is, the apartment they live in. instead, we see how they get annoyed by eachothers habits and even see an argument take place, which just makes me think that this is probably what happens most of the time theyre living together. it gives a certain perspective. highly speculative of course, i will also just appreciate this wonderful animation, character design and music choice, i always love adding new songs to my playlists! (esp character design i just love them. so whimsical)

little things I noticed: In the swiping scene their shown the same matches The dog is named Honey and the cat is named Moon (honeymoon) Honey isn't wearing pants in the first scene for some weird reason. Moon has a poster that says "cat gurls" possibly referencing the more sexual nature of cat girls. In the scene where they first meet they quickly go "Honey?" "Moon?" as a way of not only revealing the nature of their names but also just playing on the stereotype of "Name?" "Name?" In the ice cream scene they both have pet treats in their ice cream In the first little "Invada" scene Moon can't take her eyes off Honey but in the second she's avoiding eye contact with him. The loop vaguely implies their always in an eternal cycle of breaking up and getting back together just for that sweet honeymoon phase. Edit: holy shit this comment is... shit.

This animation is a little different from the last. The last one had a relationship budding from natural moments, and a sense of insecurity building up and distrust between the two that made the love fade. However, this one is based on an internet match, where they tried to do stereotypical relationship stuff, only to fade their love because of small little things. I wonder what the next couple animation will be about? The typical results from divorce and inability to connect because the two have different ways of expressing their emotions?

Just because it’s not the “normal” way of meeting someone and getting into a relationship, doesn’t mean it’s a bad way. Some people aren’t lucky enough to just magically meet someone who wants to date them, and some people have social anxiety disorder which leaves them unable to interact in the way you consider “correct”.

If we had a nickel for every animation Andy's made of an unhappy pair, we'd have three nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened thrice.

@@user-iv3rf1vw7t under the right conditions, doing this has brought me great fulfillment in my life. I did not want to have a kid at all until I met who is now my husband. We made that choice, and neither of us regret it. Had I done that with any of my exes, I would be very far from okay. I can just picture how horrible it would've been. The conditions have to be just right. And even still, that's not something everyone should need to risk. I respect the choice not to - any reason is valid, but to sit here and tell me it's the worst thing you can do under any given circumstance is just false.

Like... I see them but as thw unhappy ending. Or when they already wasted their life's and just break up but One has the be the evil one. The media almost never shows relationships wich just ends.... without anyone being an ass or hating the other. Just didn't worked.

That is really well put, animated, the song is a total bop, there was a lot of love put in this, and I really appreciate it. Such a sad depiction of a lot of relationships, not even just dating apps one, but how the idealization can peak over communication, trust and everything that we need in a relationship... Very real
